2 TRAVEL INFORMATION As with all major cities, Naples has a reputation for acts of petty crime towards tourists by locals. The Club, in partnership with the Metropolitan Police, have been working with the British Consulate in Naples, SSC Napoli and the Italian police department to manage, as far as possible, the safety and security of Arsenal FC supporters during their trip to Italy. By following the simple guidance notes below, we are confident that the risk to our travelling supporters is low and they will enjoy their visit to Naples. Please read the following information and advice carefully. Local shuttle buses are being operated to the Stadio San Paolo especially for Arsenal FC supporters. These will operate from the Port area Stazione Marittima, which is the main docking area of the Port where there is a Shopping Mall with some bars and restaurants, and is located close by to the city centre. The local shuttle buses will operate from Stazione Marittima from 18:00 until 19:30, where you will be able to travel free when in possession of a valid away match ticket. It is highly recommended that all away supporters use these local shuttle buses to get to and from the stadium, before and after the match, which will limit interaction with home fans and locals. The nearest metro station to the Stadio San Paolo is Campi Flegrei, however we strongly advise that away supporters utilise the shuttle buses being operated details above. Away supporters making their own way to the stadium in transportation should drop off and park at Viale Marconi. In general, advice is to take care and use common sense. Supporters should travel in groups and are recommended not to wear club colours away from the game, particularly on public transport.

4 STADIUM INFORMATION Address: Stadio San Paolo, Piazzale Vincenzo Tecchip, Naples StadiumCapacity: 60,000 The Stadio San Paolo will open at 18:00 Stadio San Paolo is a multi-purpose stadium in the western suburb of Fuorigrotta in Naples, Italy, and is the third largest football stadium in Italy after the San Siro and Stadio Olimpico. For the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, it hosted the football preliminaries. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home of Napoli. The stadium was built in 1959 and underwent extensive renovations in 1989 for the 1990 World Cup. Traffic in Naples, particularly on matchdays can be very heavy; therefore we would advise all supporters to arrive in good time prior to kick off. Toilet and refreshment facilities are available in the stadium and Arsenal stewards will also be present to offer assistance and translation. Access to the away section is via Gate 26. The following items are prohibited in the stadium and will be confiscated: Flagpoles, sticks Megaphones and drums Banners and flags displaying anything which can be constructed as racist or homophobic Fireworks and flares Knives, heavy metal belts, chains, lighters or any objects which can be thrown or used as a weapon After the match it is anticipated that Arsenal fans will be kept back for approximately 40 minutes, subject to congestion outside of the stadium. Please be patient with the authorities, announcements will be made to keep you updated.

5 IMPORTANT INFORMATION All away fans need to enter that stadium via Gate 26 from Viale Marconi, where all transportation for away supporters can be parked during the game. Viale Marconi is also where the specially arrange shuttle buses will operate to & from. SSC Napoli stewards will undertake a ticket and ID check before you can proceed through the turnstiles, where body and bag searches will be conducted. Arsenal stewards will also be on hand to offer assistance and translation. They will be located in the Port area Stazione Marittima, at the turnstiles and in the visitors section of the stadium. PLEASE NOTE: all away supporters must show a form of Photographic ID, such as passport or driving licence, as well as their match ticket to gain entry to the stadium. If you do not have both, you will not be allowed to enter the stadium.

In the immediate vicinity of Naples are numerous culturally and historically significant sites, including the Palace of Caserta and the Roman ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Culinarily, Naples is synonymous with pizza, which originated in the city. Neapolitan music has furthermore been highly influential, credited with the invention of the romantic guitar and the mandolin, as well as notable contributions to opera and folk standards. Naples sports scene is dominated by football and Serie A club S.S.C. Napoli, two-time Italian champions, who play at the San Paolo Stadium in the south-west of the city.
