Dear colleagues, The doctor - patient relationship will never lose its great importance and will be exceptional as every patient is always. It hardly ever happens by itself, but must be developed with the professional competence maintained with the care about the patient s health. Europe s migration crisis is a great challenge from European health professionals. The psychosomatic competence is the objective of the basic tasks in improving the therapeutic relationship. The current European higher health instance moves proposals to standardize the way the doctor treat patients now. These suggestions have great opposition from European medics. This conference is opened to all specialists active in patient s care, family doctors, residents, advanced medical students and the medical policy makers. It offers the opportunity to hear excellent speakers on various personal and functional approaches and exchange experience, also obtain new ideas and acquire practical experience and skills in Balint groups. The conference program was granted 11 European CME credits (ECMEC) and 16 Latvian Medical Association points of further education. It is a great pleasure to invite you to the Riga Conference 2016!
