For people in the midst of life: At the Private Clinic of the Psychiatrie Baselland we focus on the treatment of people affected by depression life crisis burnout We have a long-lasting experience in the inpatient treatment of people affected by depression. Our interdisciplinary team composed of consultants, therapists and nurses offers a treatment programme tailored to your individual needs and requirements. The focus of our work is on an intensive, but not overstraining psychotherapeutic treatment. The Private Clinic offers you an environment characterised by acceptance and benevolence. The services offered are aimed at adult patients of all ages who have private or semi-private supplementary hospital insurance. The clinic is also open, at a surcharge, to patients who have basic health insurance or to self-pay patients. If desired, the therapy can be carried out in English.

3 Comprehensive, individualised treatment We believe in a dialogue-centred therapeutic approach and on a human, trusting and intensive relationship. Central attention is placed on you as a patient, on your personality and your individual experiences. The interdisciplinary treatment team will actively involve you in drawing up an individualised treatment plan. In the treatment of depressive people, we place a special emphasis on: intensive individual psychotherapy modern drug therapies body-centred and creative therapeutic procedures assistance in vocational rehabilitation wet packs and baths counselling by the social services Nursing care is ensured around the clock. We place great emphasis on involving the patients relatives as well as on a systematic preparation of discharge including the initiation of outpatient treatment. Additional therapeutic modules are: regular contact with the chief physician various group psychotherapies occupational therapy concentrative movement therapy, progressive muscle relaxation, physiotherapy and sports art and music therapy conversations with the personal care - giver, ward meetings, daily communal tea time, training of everyday situations

4 A temporary home Pleasant accommodation is required for one s integral recovery. While the Private Clinic is located in the midst of the countryside, it is still nearby the picturesque little town of Liestal. The Private Clinic features bright, generously-sized rooms, decorated in warm tones, and a friendly, benevolent atmosphere in order to ensure that you feel comfortable and at home during your hospitalization. We have 22 rooms with a beautiful country side view. All rooms have their own bathrooms. Telephone, TV and radio reception are standard. Free Wi-Fi is installed throughout the house. You may relax in our small, exquisite wellness bath, let yourself be animated to work out in our well-equipped fitness room. The adjacent wildlife park invites you to move in the open air. The professional catering team provides a wide range of high-quality fresh meals. Enjoy the breakfast buffet and the main menus served in the elegant dining room. A wide range of hot and cold drinks, fruit, newspapers and magazines are freely available. Our lounges and large-sized terrace invite you to relax.
