MASTER OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ADMISSION DETAILS ACADEMIC CALENDAR: Odd Semester period is from Mid-June to Mid-December Even Semester period is from Mid-December to Mid-June The course will be spread over four semesters to cover the Core course, Elective course, Self study courses and Research courses Each semester will comprise of minimum 15 working weeks of direct classroom teaching, tutorials, counselling, project work, evaluation, field work etc Students shall be required to attend at least 75% of the total classroom sessions and field work separately under each courses offered during the semesters Elective courses shall be offered only on the strength of the students opting for a particular course Minimum ten students shall be required to offer any elective subject The students will be placed for conducting Concurrent Field work and Block Field work in rural setting, Social welfare agencies or Manufacturing or Service sectors The details are as follows: The field work comprises of 8 credits ie 16 hours per week in concurrent field work and 240 hours in block field work The field work will be evaluated on the basis of Daily Field work reports, Regularity in Field work (min 75%) and Assignments The Field work has to be undertaken by the student at his/her own cost Viva- Voce shall be conducted by a Committee of Internal and External Examiners from the Academics and Social work practitioners ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA A candidate who has appeared and passed the Bachelor s degree examination in any faculty of any recognized University under 10+2+3 pattern or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 45% marks will be considered eligible for admission to MHRM programme
