5 - 305 RURAL CAMP Semester III Rural Camp -7 Days (Survey, Pilot Visits, Pre Camp Session, Resource Mobilization and Fixing Resource persons, Execution, Post Camp Session Total 4 Weeks) 405 GROUP PROJECT Semester IV Group Awareness Campaign on Social Issues (3 programmes) DAYS - COMMUNITY BASED PLACEMENT Semester V Group of two/ three students shall be placed in a village, to observe, to survey, to learn, to plan and to facilitate rural development programmes specific to that village along with the local leaders, with the guidance of their faculty adviser. L-O-P- C DAYS - VILLAGE PANJAYATH BASED PLACEMENT Semester VI Group of two/ three students shall be placed in a pnachayat, to observe, to survey, to learn, to plan and to facilitate rural development programmes specific to that that villages come under the pnachayat along with the local leaders, with the guidance of their faculty adviser DAYS - OBSERVATIONAL VISITS, CAMP, GROUP PROJECT Semester VII Three General orientation classes handled by the internal faculty. Three orientation classes on the electives by Field practitioner. (6 Observation Visits). 5

6 Camp -7 Days (Survey, Pilot Visits, Pre Camp Session, Resource Mobilization and Fixing Resource persons, Execution, Post Camp Session Total 4 Weeks at Tribal/ Rural villages ) Group Awareness Campaign on a selected Social Issue (2 programme) DAYS - COMMON PLACEMENT Semester VIII Placements to students for 30 days. Students are individually placed in an organization/agency,( such as Home for the Aged, Disabled, Schools, Rehabilitation Settings, De-addiction centres etc.,) to observe, to learn, to plan and to intervene with methods of Social Work Casework (individual clients (3), group work (2) community organization programme () DAYS - ELECTIVE BASED PLACEMENT Semester IX Elective based placements to students for 30 days. To practice methods of Social Work with Casework (individual clients (3), group work (2) community organization programme () 005 ELECTIVE BASED INTERNSHIP Semester X Block Placement 3 Months Elective based Internship to students for 90 days. This Block Placement Internship is given in lieu of 2 courses (papers). Identification of Block Placement At the end of December.
