NFL FLAG Football Grant Equipment Grant The Carolina Panthers and Carolina Panthers Charities are excited to offer $5,000 in NFL FLAG Football equipment grants that will provide new flag football jersey s, belts, footballs and more to organizations in the Carolinas. With the decrease in football participation rates and decrease in team budgets, the team wanted to assist in providing NFL FLAG as an opportunity to our youth in the region. The Panthers are committed to building the sport of football at every level in the Carolinas and this grant will help provide: New NFL FLAG equipment Increased awareness and participation of youth football throughout the Carolinas Reinforced commitment that the Carolina Panthers and Carolina Panthers Charities have for our youth football community. The NFL FLAG Football grant enables youth football organizations to apply for the following grant: The Panthers will award FIVE (5) NFL FLAG Football Grants, each with a retail value of approximately $1,000. BONUS: Every team that applies for this grant will be eligible to receive: 1. $1,000 in FREE NFL FLAG Football equipment. 2. $2,000+ in FREE Panthers preseason tickets courtesy of USA Football month. Each qualifying NFL FLAG football program will receive a block (approximately 40) tickets. Incomplete applications will not be eligible for consideration. Grant applications must be postmarked by July 18, 2014. Applications received by fax will not be eligible. YOUTH FOOTBALL COACH OF THE WEEK NOMINATION FORM The Carolina Panthers are proud to honor youth football coaches, tackle or flag, through the Carolina Panthers Youth Football Coach of the Week program. Youth football league administrators, parents and community members in North and South Carolina are encouraged to nominate youth football coaches in their area who make substantial impacts on the sport of youth football through their volunteer efforts. The Panthers will select ten (10) coaches during the course of the football season. Each winning coach will receive Panthers tickets, sideline passes, Panthers gift pack, a commemorative and personalized game ball while also being honored during a special on-field ceremony during a Carolina Panthers home game. All youth football coaches in the Carolinas are eligible regardless of their team size, league or division. Coaches are evaluated based on their success on the field, but more importantly, off the field as well. We look for coaches who are making a positive impact on their players and community. Coaches, nor their immediate family members, may nominate themselves.
