Anthony Caine, Senior Lecturer in International at ICI Chef Caine achieved his advanced professional and master chef qualifications at Westminster and Lweisham Catering college. He then went on to work in numerous London restaurants including The Sheraton Park Towers Hotel in Knightsbridge, The Thistle Tower Hotel and The Charing Cross Hotel as well as experiences in two Michelin starred restaurants. Switching his direction to teaching, he enrolled in a training programme and later received a degree in Business Management. Building a vast knowledge and experience in education, he was invited to join Canterbury Christchurch University as an associate lecturer, promoting specialist teaching and learning for institutes across Kent in England. In 2006, he was awarded fellowship to the World Master Chef Society and works closely in contributing to and harnessing the expertise offered by this network. Here at ICI it s all about adding a little bit extra to something that s already good. Making sure our students go on to become future decision makers. Not only will they learn pastry techniques, molecular cookery and food & beverage management but they will also become talented leading chefs and managers who will hopefully go on to be successful in the hospitality industry.
