UNLOCK LOCK Wall Moutig Usig Double-sided adhesive tape Separatig the wall-mout bracket 1. Press ad hold [PUSH TO RELEASE] o the left side of bracket ad tur the bracket couterclockwise to separate it. ` You may tur the bracket body couterclockwise without pressig the [PUSH TO RELEASE]. 3. Hold the adhesive tape's holder ad remove the protective film, ad attach it to the desired spot of the wall-mout bracket while makig the [ TOP] marker poit upwards (directio of 12 o clock). ` The tape will lose adhesiveess if used oce, do ot re-use. ` Before attachig tape, clea dust / water / oil off the wall-mout bracket s adhesive spot for better result. TOP TOP 02 Assemblig 1. Take out tape for wall moutig from the zipper bag. 2. UNLOCK LOCK 4. Ru the provided adaptor wire through the groove prepared o the wall-mout bracket. 6. Fix the body bracket by turig it clockwise util it clicks. ` Match adaptor s plug part to the directio of 12 o clock. Grooves o the body bracket TOP 5. Adjustig the Agle Wall Moutig with Screws 1. Adjust the camera s shootig agle as appropriate. ` Do ot put excessive force. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the camera. Tur the part show i the figure clockwise to lock the bracket s ball hige ad fix the shootig agle. 3. Tur it couterclockwise to ulock the ball hige ad adjust the shootig agle. Take out screws (M3xL20) ad Achor (Φ5x25) from the zipper bag. 2. O a woode wall, use screws to fix the wall-mout bracket as show i the figure. Place the wall-mout bracket o the desired spot while settig its [ TOP] mark towards directio of 12 o clock ad faste screws through the 4 holes usig screwdriver. 3. DC IN 5V NETWORK SAMSUNG SMARTCAM RESET Network Coectio ad Settigs Precautios The wireless etwork access may fail, depedig o the commuicatios eviromet. For details about the etwork settigs ad password, cotact your etwork admiistrator or service provider. For a specific Iteret service requirig user autheticatio, you may ot access the service. If this is the case, cotact the service provider. Do ot access the uauthorized etwork. The farther the distace from the Wireless Access Poit, the loger time the etwork coectio may take. If you fail to access the selected wireless etwork, try a differet Wireless Access Poit to make access. For more iformatio about the router or the wireless coectio, refer to the documetatio of the router or cotact the router maufacturer. If the camera is coected to a multiple-wireless Access Poit etwork eviromet, some video packets may be lost, depedig o the etwork traffic load. Accordig to the etwork policy (blockig UDP) of the service provider, the video trasmissio ca be limited to 7 miutes. I additio to the above two situatios, you may ecouter a etwork delay or iterruptio due to the etwork coditios. This product has goe through the compatibility test with worldwide top rakig routers i the market but you may still have a problem i compatibility with some covetioal routers or other routers maufactured by other tha the idustry leadig compaies. Coectig via etwork cable If you do ot have a Wireless Access Poit, you must coect the camera usig LAN cable directly to your home router. 1. Whe you apply the power, the power status LED is lit red, ad it will chage to red blikig whe the bootig is completed. 2. Coect the etwork cable to the camera ad to the home router as show below. 3. The status LED will become steady blue oce the camera is coected to the router. (may take up to 30sec). If the status LED (blue) is ot lit, repeat steps 2 through the ed ad check it agai. 4. The status LED will became steady gree oce the camera is coected to server. OR <Hub> <Modem> Iteret Service ` It is recommeded to set the router to DHCP(Dyamic Host Cofiguratio Protocol) server. If you wat to use static IP address, please refer to <Wired Network> o page 24. ` If the router s UPP is ot set, the you might be coected i relay mode. If you set the microphoe to '0', you will ot hear the soud from the live video ad it is ot recorded by the alarm of YouTube or Picasa. I this case, you will see the video for the first seve miutes oly. ` Relay mode is added feature where the video from the camera is trasmitted to Samsug server the retrasmitted to the user's computer. ` If you have trouble coectio to the camera, visit "http://www.samsugsmartcam. com", go to support page, ad refer to Troubleshootig o it. ` If you display more tha oe live video with the Web browser, they ca be overlapped i some portio. It is recommeded to use oe browser at oe time. ` The Night Visio video produces a differet visibility accordig to the distace betwee camera ad subject. Network <Wired Network> Firmware update If the curretly used S/W is ot of the latest versio, update it. If you are usig the latest versio, the the firmware will ot be activated. 1) Click <Firmware>. b 2) Click the < > ico to update the firmware. ` If ay of the maual settigs is wrog, the etwork settigs will ot be applied. ` If you have both cable ad wireless etwork coectios simultaeously, the cable etwork coectio is prioritized. ` Press WPS to set the etwork coectio to Wireless regardless of the curret etwork settigs. Troubleshootig If you ecouter a problem with your system, see the table below to solve the problem as quickly ad easily as possible. Please follow the istructio below: Problem I forgot my user ID/ password. I failed to coect wirelessly with the camera. After logged i, I failed to register the camera. The camera is registered, but is ot ready for etwork coectio. Actio - Move to Log-i page Forgot your ID/Password?, ad eter the registered e-mail address to which we will sed you the user ID ad/or a ew password. It ca be spammed out depedig o the policy of the email server. After logged i, it is advisable to chage the temporary password provided. - If you ecouter a frequet tur off of the wireless Iteret LED, this may be caused by a improper place for the wireless Iteret etwork. Come closer to the AP ad try agai. - If the wireless etwork is ustable, you ca still make coectio via the cable etwork. - Check if the etered serial umber matches with the label o the rear of the camera. - Please re-eter the valid camera password ad try agai. - If the problem persists, reset the camera to the factory default ad start all over agai. (To reset the camera to the factory default, press ad hold the reset butto o the rear of the camera. The camera will reboot whe the factory reset is completed.) - Check if the frot LED o the camera turs o. - If the wireless LAN LED turs off, follow the applicable istructios to make the wireless LAN coectio usig WPS. - If the problem persists eve if the wireless LAN LED turs off, move the camera ear the wireless AP ad try agai. - If you use the cable LAN etwork, the wireless LAN LED should tur off.
