The qualified candidate will be responsible for the day to day financial management. Responsibilities include: supervision and preparation of general ledger reconciliations and entries, including third party accounts receivables, grants and contracts, monthly general ledger close, including preparation of monthly financial statement package, internal and external financial reporting, and accounts payable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with attention to detail and superior analytical and problem solving skills. (Reports directly to the Controller) Primary Responsibilities: Manage and direct all accounting staff (currently 5 staff) including review and supervision of purchasing, accounts payable, general accounting, cash receipts, grants and contracts and all month end close reconciliations. Generate accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP and consistent with the information needs of the Board of Directors and the Health Center s management, including financial ratios and analysis. Lead successful completion of all audits throughout the year. Establish and maintain an appropriate internal control environment to ensure the integrity of financial information and the preservation of the Health Center s assets. Preparation of cost reports (FQHC & CHC Medicaid), UFR, UDS, 990/PC and any other internal/external reports. Generate accurate and timely grant/contract billing each month, including working with department managers in regards to grants/contracts. Assist in preparation of the annual budget. Provide supervision and training for purchasing coordinators so that supplies are available when needed, of appropriate quality and at the best price. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting from an accredited university. Minimum of five year experience in a similar role or in the financial/general ledger area preferable in Healthcare. Minimum three years supervisory experience preferably in healthcare. Proficiency in Excel, Work, Powerpoint, and Outlook functions.
Masters degree in accounting or business administration and CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Extensive experience with accounting and third party billing software and preferred experience with 340b/retail pharmacy software. (Preferred software products are: ACCPAC for general ledger; NextGen for third party billing; and QS1 for pharmacy.) Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Analyze and review denials: Resolve denial issues and complete timely rebilling: Review and resolve open accounts from aging reports; Maximize our collection rate. Chief Medical Officer Job Level: 29 Description: Reporting to the President & CEO, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will have strategic and operational oversight of the Health Center s Clinical staff including: medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy. The CMO will provide clinical leadership to the site medical directors and site managers, as well as to the VP of Dental and VP of Pharmacy for total clinical system integration. The CMO will direct all staff providers and all professional contractual providers in a manner that achieves the triple AIM of primary care health delivery: access, quality, and cost.
