Kennedy Community Health Center (EMKCHC) is a federally qualified health center. We have been serving the greater Worcester area for 39 years, and Framingham and the greater Metrowest area for seven years. EMKCHC is seeking an experienced Controller. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the day to day financial management. Responsibilities include: supervision and preparation of general ledger reconciliations, including third party accounts receivables, grants and contracts, monthly general ledger close, internal and external financial reporting, and accounts payable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with attention to detail and superior analytical and problem solving skills. (Reports directly to the VP of Finance/CFO.) Qualification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), current valid Massachusetts license required.bachelor Degree in Accounting. Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting preferably in healthcare. Minimum 5-7 years supervising experience preferably in healthcare. Proven capabilities in budget development and management skills. Extensive experience with Excel (Advanced to Expert Excel skills required) and Word. Extensive experience with accounting and third party billing software and preferred experience with 340b/retail pharmacy software. (Preferred software products are: ACCPAC for general ledger; NextGen for third party billing; and QS1 for pharmacy.) Experience working in a Community Health Center or healthcare agency is highly preferred.grants & contracts management including thorough knowledge of OMB circular A-122 and A-133 for federal grants and state contract regulations. Expertise in third party reimbursement programs including thorough understanding of billing process. Knowledge of Community Health Center (CHC) cost reporting (FQHC & CHC Medicaid), UFR, UDS and 990/PC strongly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadlinedriven environment.

2 Dentist Department: Dental/Worcester Job Level: 20 Description: To provide preventive and restorative services in dentistry, and to promote optimum oral health to patients. To diagnose and treat oral disease, injuries, and malformations of all structures of the oral cavity. To examine patients to determine nature of condition, utilizing x rays, clinical exam, and other diagnostic procedures and aids. To provide preventative care, restoration, extraction, and replacement of teeth for patients of all ages, and prescribe medication or palliative treatment, when needed. 3 Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Administrator Department: Administration Job Level: 12 Description: Provide technology support to medical providers and other clinical end users within the Health Center s electronic medical records (EMR) and its practice management system (PMS) to ensure continuous operations of such systems. Candidate will be responsible for new and on-going EMR application support, EMR development and implementation of programs EMR technical support and training. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Analyze complex situations ranging from facility and system-wide issues to individually reported end-user questions; Directly support the installation and implementation of new or enhanced clinical systems; Support Providers and Medical staff in the daily use of EMR system. Resolve EMR operations issues, and apply enhancement requests; Work on any Interface between EMR and other system; Support retrieval of medical information from EMR using tools such as SQL or Cognos. NextGen experience a plus. Qualifications: Graduate from of a 2 year technical degree program or 4-6 years relevant experience required. Proficiency with a variety of computer software packages; and computer hardware required. Desires skills include clinical applications and system administration experience. This position requires excellent written, verbal communications along with basic training techniques. Work with clinical applications ranging from application support to technical training. Maintenance Worker Department: Facilities Status: Full Time Pay Grade: 4 Description: This is a regular full time position providing daily maintenance, repair, and cleaning within the EMKCHC s Tacoma Street location. We seek a well organized self-starter who, with direction from the Director of Facilities, enjoys working independently. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Maintain and repair basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry as needed; Grounds keeping as needed; Maintain and monitor supplies and equipment. Qualifications: Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures required. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting required, Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Software. 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Vocational training preferred. Medical Interpreter I English/Somali Job Status: Per Diem Job Level: 5 Description: EMKCHC has an immediate full time opening for a medical interpreter to provide medical interpretation services for health center patients adhering to the IMIA standards of practice. Qualifications: Bilingual language proficiency preferred (English/Somali) required. Moderate computer skills required. Language proficiency must meet standards to pass a Medical Interpreter Certificate program Successful candidate must be highly motivated, dependable, and a self starter with excellent customer service skills a must as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

5 Schedule Coordinator Job Level: 5 Description: Create and maintain all assigned medical, medical specialty, and ancillary provider schedules and related templates as directed by the Medical Directors and/or Directors of Medical Services. Responsible for completing provider schedule changes accurately, including organizing the cancelations/re-scheduling of patients, keeping an accurate record of changes, and ensuring provider session schedule is accurate and available at all times. Provider scheduling liaison between the Health Center, Family Health Center and UMASS Memorial to ensure that coverage for the identified medical facilities on-call schedules are accurate and coordinated..
