Responsible for the day-to-day clinical management of BMS s School Based Health Programs in Baltimore City Public Schools. Will work in conjunction with BMS' Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to provide leadership and supervision over all clinical services. Medical Director will provide direct patient care services on a part time basis. Clinical Manager St. Agnes Director of Clinical Operations & Patient Services Administrative Building 3501 Sinclair Lane The Clinical Manager is responsible and accountable for health center clinical operations, referral coordination and programs (where applicable) and must work collaboratively with the Center Medical Director or Lead Physician and Office Manager to provide safe, high quality, effective and efficient medical care. Provides backup clinical support to Center staff. BSN required. MSN preferred. Two years of demonstrated supervisory experience. Minimum of two years clinical experience in acute care or ambulatory care setting. The Director of Clinical Operations and Patient Care Services is a registered nurse responsible for the organization s nursing and clinical support services. This position provides leadership and support to the clinical operations of Baltimore Medical System s health delivery centers. In addition, the Director of Clinical Operations Patient Care Services oversees the organization s occupational health, care management and infection control programs. 2 MANAGEMENT (CON T) Health Center Administrator Responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the health center. Direct supervision of all administrative health center staff: Administrative Assistants, Service Representatives, Medical Record Clerks, Health Benefits Advisors, and other staff as identified. Must possess excellent technical and analytical abilities. Accurately and timely processes payroll verification & submission, interviews, hires, trains and develops staff. Also responsible for discipline and termination as necessary. Works collaboratively with members of the health care team to ensure efficiency of health center operations, identify areas in need of improvement, and sees improvement recommendations through to completion in order to ensure quality care to patients. Bachelor s degree and 5+ years of health care experience, 3 years of health care experience in a supervisory position. Risk Management & Compliance Manager Administrative Building 3501 Sinclair Lane The Risk Management and Compliance manager is a member of Baltimore Medical System s Clinical Services team who oversees the risk management program and ensures clinical compliance and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) adherence. The Risk Management and Compliance Manager manages and monitors the incident/occurrence reporting system and identifies areas of improvement and recommends action plans to reduce the risks for patients, staff and the liability for the organization. Bachelor s degree in healthcare related field Certified in HIPAA, Safety, Healthcare Privacy, Information Privacy or Healthcare risk management, desired Three (3) or more years of experience healthcare Knowledge and experience with Healthcare Risk Management, essential Experience in Performance Improvement Management and Quality, essential
3 ADMINISTRATIVE Center Administrative Assistant Belair- Edison The Health Center Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the center s leadership team. S/he is responsible for team leadership and general supervision of the administrative staff in the absence of the Center Office Manager. S/he is responsible for responding to and solving a variety of issues including, but limited to, facilities issues, schedule building and updating, customer complaints, time keeping and is also cross-trained to cover all administrative functions of the center. High school diploma or equivalent required. AA degree strongly preferred. 3 or more years of relevant work experience necessary to gain knowledge of office and administrative procedures. Experience in healthcare environment strongly preferred. Community Health Worker Belair- Edison Establishes a relationship with BMS clients through home visits to provide health education and reinforcement of health promotion/prevention strategies. May take blood pressures during home visits or at group events with digital cuff provided by the program and document this information in medical record. Serves as cultural mediator between communities and health service system. Provides culturally appropriate health education to individuals, families & community groups. Provides informal counseling & social support. Makes appropriate referrals, in consultation with nurse educator, to ensure patients have access to services needed. Followups with clients in person and via telephone to ensure adequate use of services and connections with community resources. Collects relevant data on CHW activities and inputs into system. Writes reports as required. More than 3 years experience in a health clinic setting or other client service environment such as a community agency or a neighborhood organization. High School Diploma or equivalent. Current MD Drivers license and personal vehicle required. Interpreter/Care Coordinator (1) PRN Burmese (1) Part Time Spanish The Interpreters provide a number of services to promote full accessibility to BMS medical services for specified populations of non-english speaking patients & their families such as: interpreting, health care coordination, and health information. Interpreters function as cultural competency resources for both staff and patients and assist with outreach activities. Medical Records Clerk Administrative Building 3501 Sinclair Lane Responsible for the maintenance and distribution of patient medical records: filing, scanning, and retrieving patient medical records in a timely manner, checking patient chart for accuracy and completeness, purging inactive medical records and filing/scanning loose materials. Maintains correspondence. Required: HSD & a Medical Terminology course. 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
4 ADMINISTRATIVE (CON T) Referral Coordinator The Referral Coordinator is essential in the management of the patient referral process and is a key link between the clinician, referring specialist, and the patient. The Referral Coordinator must simultaneously maintain an efficient referral system, assist patients and clinicians on an individual basis and manage referrals on a systems level by monitoring referral reports and tracking referrals until close out. Referral Coordinators must have knowledge of the three factors by which all referrals are governed: payors and their insurance rules; providers and network participation, and primary care providers and their referring instructions. High School Diploma or equivalent. One year of experience consistently working with patient referrals required. Service Representative Belair- Edison (2) Full Time Mon: 9A 7P T&W: 8A 4P TH: 9A 7P Fri: 8A 12P (2) Full Time (2) Part Time 2 10 hr days 1 5 hr day The service representative is part of a cross-trained team that performs the following processes necessary for efficient operational function of a health center: pre-registration, registration, appointment confirmation, enrollment, scheduling, rescheduling, insurance verification, panel management, with medical record tasks such as record requests, printing Immunization records, copies of referrals, lab slips etc. Also assist patients by tasking messages through EHR to providers and clinical staff. The position is responsible for greeting customers and providing quality customer service in person and on the telephone. Receives co-payments and post payments for back balances to patient accounts and gives appropriate receipts to patients. Minimum 12 months of experience performing similar duties in a healthcare office.

Responsibilities include problem assessment & referral to appropriate resources, and outreach to patients and families in the patients homes and/or hospital. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certified by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners.
8 CLINICAL Registered Nurses Registered Nurse Full Time Days The RN assists clinicians in the development of the plan-of-care for patients. Experience with adults and pediatric patients required. Current RN license / CPR required. Belair- Edison Pediatric Charge Nurse Internal Medicine Charge Nurse Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Charge Nurse is responsible and accountable for leading and supervising clinical support staff in the respective department. Works collaboratively with clinicians, administrative staff, and the other center charge nurses to provide safe, high quality, effective, and efficient medical care. Provides direct nursing care as part of the departmental team including triage, patient education, and case management. BSN and a minimum of 2 years of Pediatric experience & supervisory experience. Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Charge Nurse is responsible and accountable for leading and supervising clinical support staff in the respective department. Works collaboratively with clinicians, administrative staff, and the other center charge nurses to provide safe, high quality, effective, and efficient medical care. 9 CLINICAL Pharmacy Pharmacy Courier All Locations PRN FLOAT The individual in this position is responsible for performing courier services primarily between Patient Residences and BMS Pharmacies. Additional courier duties between the Central Office, BMS Health Centers and any other locations, may be required. He/she is required to operate BMS s Company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner in order to pick up prescriptions, prescriptions transfers, interoffice mail, bank change, etc. and deliver them to designated patient residence, health centers, bank, and other facility. Pharmacy Technician All Locations PRN Pharmacy Technician Belair-Edison 24 Hours SA 16 Hours FLOAT Float Float The Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for assisting with prescriptions by counting pills, measuring and labeling medications, verifying prescriptions from doctors, maintaining patient records, tracking insurance information, and assisting patients with insurance forms as needed. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician and must retain certification. Basic medical terminology preferred. 1-3years relevant work experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician and must retain certification. Basic medical terminology preferred. 1-3years relevant work experience.
