Manager Strategic Design Service Innovation Group, Service Delivery & Operations DIA is the Agency responsible for to the Government for Delivering Better Public Service Result 10 (BPS 10). It is charged with leading the design of a market approach to delivering integrated public services. Manager Strategic Design provides specialist strategic advice on designing the ecosystem and leadership to Service Innovation and to DIA as a market steward; by defining the operating model, products and services within the ecosystem and the delivery models for stakeholder involvement. What you will do to contribute Strategic Leadership Provide thought leadership and direction to the Strategic Design team by providing specialist advice on ecosystem design and identifying and analysing the objectives, operating model and outcomes Support the General Manager Service Innovation in setting the strategic direction, developing innovative strategies and building the capability of the Service Innovation team to achieve its outcomes Lead ecosystem design activities to enable the Service Innovation team to maximise its capability and capacity to deliver against its strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations Provide trusted advice and recommendations to the Service Innovation team and the external Service Innovation Working Group about opportunities and priorities Apply specialist knowledge of policy, regulatory and legislative implications to setting the ecosystem strategy Prioritise potential federated service offerings and make effective trade-off decisions Facilitate changes in thinking through effective communication with the right people, using the right channels Operational Leadership Drive and champion a customer centric approach to the ecosystem and promote the utilisation of customer feedback, research and analysis to drive decisions and assess whether the ecosystem is delivering desired outcomes Provide a consultative role within Service Delivery and Operations, across DIA and other agencies and organisations, on the design and delivery of the market approach Collaborate with the Integrated Services team to define the interventions required to stimulate market entry and to promote and champion the market approach Assess whether the ecosystem is delivering desired outcomes Contribute to a risks/issues register to inform early resolution of risks/issues Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders As a result we will see The Manager Strategic Design contributing thought leadership to Service Innovation and championing the Group s vision and strategic objectives A clearly articulated vision and strategy for the ecosystem design and approach Trusted advice and specialist expertise is provided to the external Strategic Innovation Working Group An operating model is created that brings services to the ecosystem with DIA acting as the Market Steward.
