Title: Inspector of Works II (1 post) 6. Job Title: Estates Manager (1 Post) Applicant must be a holder of a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or equivalent qualifications. (i) Undertakes various types of civil engineering/building works under close supervision and direction of senior staff. (ii) Assists in the implementation of maintenance policies pertaining to buildings. (iii) Performs any other duties assigned by one s reporting officer. ( c) Salary Scale: PGSS 11 2. Job Title: Senior Education Officer II (1 post) French and Kiswahili 1 Applicant must be a Holder of a Masters Degree in Engineering or Architecture or any other relevant field and registered as a professional Engineer/Valuer with the relevant Board. Must have obtained a GPA of 3.0 or above in undergraduate Degree with working experience at least three as Principal Estates Officer or its equivalent. : (i) Head of the Estates Department and responsible to the Principal through the Deputy Principal Administration; (ii) Serves as Secretary to the Estates Committee;
(a) Qualification and Experience: Applicant must be a holder of BA/BSc degree in or with Education or in any other content area with relevant working experience of at least five years. (i) To give instructions in one's specialised content subject (ii) To prepare plan of work, course preparation, teaching aids, pupil exercises, tests and examination. (iii) To provide guidance and counselling (iv) To collect, analyse, keep and disseminate educational scientific and technological knowledge to relevant authorities (v) To coordinate activities performed in colleges and other institutions in the education sector (vi) To coordinate cooperation issues in education, science, and technology in the school, zone and nation in accordance with one's responsibilities at a place of work (vii) To coordinate practical work within and outside the school (viii) To care for the students' welfare in and outside the classroom (ix) Performs any other duties as may be assigned by one s reporting Officer ( c ) Salary Scale: PTSS 15-16 3. Job Title: Assistant Education Officer I (1 post) Physics and Mathematics (a) Qualification and Experience: Applicant must be a holder of Form VI plus Diploma in Education with relevant working experience of at least five years. (i) To give instructions in one's specialised content subject (ii) To prepare plan of work, course preparation, teaching (iii) Responsible for land management, maintenance and rehabilitation of buildings and infrastructure and space utilization; (iv) Responsible for Formulation of recurrent maintenance and capital development projects and their budgets; (v) Responsible for execution of maintenance works and Capital Development Projects; (vi) Responsible for preparation of specifications of furniture and equipment. (vii) Responsible for progress reports for Capital Development Projects and maintenance works; (viii) Responsible for maintaining the fixed assets register in collaboration with the Bursar; (ix) Responsible for provision of essential services such as water, telephones, electricity, sewage, drainage, environmental cleanness and safety etc.; and (x) Perform any other duties as directed by Deputy Principal - Administration. (c) Salary Scale: PGSS 21 7. (i) To give instructions in one's specialised content subject (ii) To prepare plan of work, course preparation, teaching aids, pupil exercises, tests and examinations (iii) To supervise school examinations and to report to the school Management (iv) To keep and control all school resources (v) To prepare and submit reports to higher Authorities (vi) To encourage, supervise, follow up on school attendance and to report to the School management and parents/guardians (vii) To care for the students' welfare in and outside the classroom (viii) To provide guidance and Counselling (ix) Performs any other duties as may be assigned by one s reporting Officer ( c ) Salary Scale: PTSS 13-14 (i) Carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practicals for undergraduate programmes under close supervision; (ii) Prepare materials for practical and tutorial exercises; (iii) Conduct research under close supervision; (iv) Carry out consultancy in community services under close supervision; (v) Publish articles & research findings; (vi) Write teaching manuals and compendia; (vii) Attend workshops, conferences and symposia; and (viii) Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the relevant authorities. 3 8. Job Title: Tutorial Assistant (1 post) History Applicant must be a holder of a Bachelor Degree from a recognized University with a minimum GPA of 3.8 or higher with a minimum score of B+ in the relevant subject. Job Title: Senior Information, Education and Communication Officer I (1 Post) Applicant must be a Holder of Masters Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent and a relevant working experience of at least seven years. ( b) Duties and Responsibilities (i) Participates in handling protocol and travel arrangements for Institution dignitaries. (ii) Analysing public complaints, criticism and enquiries with a view to improving and promoting the College public image by suggesting to Management on the appropriate remedial measures. (iii) Develop mechanisms for Alumni to closely work with the College in fulfilment of its mission. (iv) Assist in planning and overseeing the College's public relations and marketing publications. (v) Implement the College s marketing strategy that effectively promotes the Institution s brand, its products and services. (vi) Performs any other Duties and Responsibilities as may be assigned by one s reporting officer. ( c) Salary Scale: PGSS 16-17 practical; (ii) Assist in conducting tutorial and practical exercises for students in the department under close supervision; (iii) Prepare materials for practical and tutorial exercises; (iv) Conduct research under close supervision; (v) Assist in carrying out consultancy in community services under close supervision; and (vi) Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the relevant authorities.
