What is a Graduate Employment Program (GEP)? A GEP is a graduate position which includes substantial training and development, and may include rotations Generally offered by large organisations and government; GEPs are only one form of graduate employment many industries do not use GEPs to recruit Students are recruited in their final year to start the following year; recent grads can also apply Some organisations offer several programs; others a single, general program

APS look closely to make most of opportunities! Deciding on what to apply for Be strategic in choosing - doing more applications does not necessarily increase your chances if not well done; however, worth doing several as you tend to get better as you go along! Think carefully about the match will the program/work area make use of your skills and strengths? Are you really motivated to work in the organisation? A real connection makes huge difference to an application.
