J J N P CLASSE 00 VE WIRE video door entry system 5 Description Front view WIRE handsfree colour video handset with inductive loop, preset for different types of installations, depending on the accessories used: wall mounted, flush mounted, table mounted, with side-by-side handset receiver, and tilted, both when wall mounted and when flush mounted. It has a." (6:9) colour LCD display. Keys available: auto-switching on / cycling, door lock release, staircase lights control, handsfree connection and configurable keys. Depending on the configurators connected to (M), the configurable keys will perform different functions (see the specific configuration section). LEDs used for: call exclusion, door status, connection with the entrance panel. Volume and call exclusion, colour, brightness and contrast of the display, are adjusted using the navigation menu with the appropriate rocker keys. 6 different ringtones available. For wall mounted installation, the bracket supplied must be used. For all other types of installation, the appropriate accessories must be purchased separately. N - handset number The configurators connected to the N sockets of the device assign an identification number within the system to each video handset. The handsets must be configured in progressive order. Handsets with parallel connection (max are allowed inside apartments without item 6850) must be configured using the same N configurator.in parallel with the main video handset, additional handsets, video handsets and/or bells may be installed. P entrance panel association The configurators connected to the P sockets of the device identify the associated EP, which is the first entrance panel that switches itself on when the pushbutton is pressed the first time, as well as which door lock is activated when pressing the door lock pushbutton while the video handset is idle. M operating mode The configurators connected to the M socket of the device assign the operating modes to the programmable keys ( - - - ) based on the following indications. J additional power supply The JMP configurator in J is used to enable/disable the additional power supply according to the following mode: J CONNECTED = Additional power supply disabled J J N P M J DISCONNECTED = Additional power supply enabled J - MASTER/SLAVE function The JMP configurator in J is used to activate/deactivate the MASTER / SLAVE function according to the following mode: J CONNECTED = MASTER J DISCONNECTED = SLAVE The different operating modes of the programmable keys are indicated below: M = 00 Internal intercom. CLASSE 00 VE 5 OFFICE function When preset using the appropriate configuration, the OFFICE function appears on the on-screen menu and can be enabled/disabled using the appropriate rocker keys. With the function active, when a call is received from the entrance panel, the video handset rings and the associated door lock is automatically activated, without the need for pressing the door lock control key of the device. DOOR STATUS function This function notifies the status of the door lock. If open the "LED door lock" of the handset flashes, and if closed, the LED stays off. WARNING: the function can only be activated if required by the system - accessory devices are required. CANNOT BE ACTIVATED together with the OFFICE function. PAGING function This function, if preset by an appropriate configuration and activated, can be used to send voice messages using the microphone of the device through the speakers of the sound system. To activate briefly press the Connection key while the device is in the idle condition. The activation of the function is confirmed by the green LED coming on. To DISABLE the function press the Connection key again. PUSH to TALK function If the entrance panel is in a particularly noisy position, during the conversation it will be possible to enable the PUSH to TALK function, which will provide a better quality of communication. During the conversation it will be possible to enable the function as follows: - Press the connection key for at least seconds, to enable the communication with the entrance panel. The LED stays green. - Release the key to listen to the entrance panel. The LED turns red. - To end the connection press the Connection key briefly. The LED will turn off. LED notifications Door lock status and/or door status red LED notifications: Operating status two-colour (red/green) LED notifications: BELL programming LED ON steady = door lock pushbutton pressed; LED ON flashing = door open; LED OFF = door closed. NOTE: the door status function notifies the status of the door lock. If open the "LED door lock" flashes, and if closed, the LED stays off. This function is only available for preset systems. LED ON steady (green) = conversation active; LED ON flashing (green) = call active or intercom call forwarded; LED ON flashing (red) = programming procedure being performed. Using the on screen menu, the video handset offers the possibility to select among 6 types of bells with programmed ringtones, which can be freely associated to the different type of calls: - selection of the call bells from the main entrance panel (S =0). - selection of the call bells from the secondary entrance panel (S =). - floor call bell selection. - internal intercom call bell selection - external intercom call bell selection (only with the apartment interface 6850). Switch the acoustic device to the T position. To ensure correct magnetic coupling between the handset and the acoustic device, we recommend a position in front of the device, at a distance of 5-5 cm.
