ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT AND SCOPE IOM is committed to the principle that safe and orderly migration is a benefit to migrants and society, and is essential for achievement of the Millennium Development Goals. As a global intergovernmental organization, IOM supports Member States to effectively manage the various challenges related to migration and provides assistance to migrants. Migration Governance Programme of IOM Myanmar covers diverse thematic areas including border management, peace building, migration and development, research and policy and movement assistance. III. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and direct supervision of Programme Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the following: a) Assist to Operation Assistant for passengers pre departure orientation and departure procedures; b) Enter the passengers information in Travel Arrangement Tracking Chart once the passports and visas from the Embassy are received; c) Check travel arrangement tracking chart of Visa 93 passengers and confirm its accuracy; d) Check the Tracking Chart every week to make sure that the case s visas have 1

more than 2 months before the departure date; e) Contact the beneficiaries for travel readiness and sends the travel ready list to the IOM BKK with email attachment with the copy of passports and visas; f) Escort unaccompanied minors to United States of America; g) Provide general programmatic and administrative support; h) Assist to translation of the letters and interpretation as needed; i) Arrange meeting requests; j) Handle Travel Authorisations, travel logistics and UNDSS clearance; k) Assist to procurement request and other documents for programme procurement purposes; l) Handle for the management of filing and online documents; m) Perform any other duties as may be assigned IV.
