In Vivo Preclinical Imaging: An Introductory Workshop In Vivo Preclinical Imaging: An Introductory Workshop s Preliminary Program, HOSTED BY
In Vivo Preclinical Imaging: An Introductory Workshop Learn the fundamentals of various small animal imaging modalities with an opportunity for hands-on-training/demonstrations to enhance the learning experience. Targeted towards physicians, scientists (including postdoctoral fellows & graduate students), and scientific laboratory professionals, this workshop will improve your knowledge of using molecular imaging for in vivo biomedical applications. Individuals with experience in small animal imaging as well as beginners are welcome. Key Topics Instrumentation Data acquisition and reconstruction MR/SPECT/PET imaging probes, targets, applications Small animal handling Data analysis Techniques for imaging infectious disease models Included Modalities MRI and MRS PET SPECT Optical imaging (Bioluminescence and fluorescence imaging/tomography) Ultrasound X-ray CT Photoacoustic imaging Multimodality imaging Hands-On Training Workshop 21, 1:30-5:00pm Additional registration fee is required. Work side-by-side with experienced professionals, observe instrument handing and participate in data acquisition and analysis. You ll have the opportunity to receive training in multiple modalities, including MR, PET, SPECT, Optical and Ultrasound. Advanced Imaging Analysis Workshop 21, 1:30-5:00pm Sponsored by Caliper, a PerkinElmer Company Not attending the Hands-On Training? Stick around for an informal session featuring advanced imaging techniques using real datasets. Multiple topics will be covered, including: optical imaging, microct, multimodal imaging, co-registration, spectral un-mixing, and 3D tomography. Register Today. www.snm.org/pci
