2015 Annual Users Conference Sunday Wednesday October 4 7, 2015 SANIBEL HARBOUR MARRIOTT RESORT & SPA FORT MYERS, FL
Personal Invitation Dear Visual EstiTrack and Visual Books Users: This year marks our 19 th Annual Visual EstiTrack and Visual Books Users Conference. We welcome you to join us in Fort Myers, FL at the beautiful Sanibel Harbour Marriot Resort and Spa. For everyone at Henning Software and many users throughout the country, the annual Visual EstiTrack and Visual Books Users Conference is a highlight annual event. Locations and accommodations are carefully selected with the intent to make sure everyone has a great time and enjoys the surroundings amidst several days of serious work. Certainly, there are plenty of opportunities for fishing, bike riding on Sanibel Island, culinary excursions or other fun Fort Myers beach activities. And, if the opportunity presents itself, go ahead and take the opportunity to share another great idea about ERP software while taking a hike, playing tennis, or sinking that last putt. However, we believe you will benefit most, as have many previous participants, from the numerous opportunities available to meet and speak with other owners and managers running companies similar to yours. You will learn firsthand how other companies are using Visual EstiTrack and Visual Books to improve their operations and competitiveness. In addition, you will be able to share directly with Henning Software management and programmers your ideas about how the software can be further improved and enhanced. At this year s conference, we plan to review Visual EstiTrack s new and improved features/enhancements accomplished during the 2015 development year. In addition, we have a number of guest customer speakers on the agenda that are kind enough to assist us in a few of our presentations so they can share with you how they are using some of the more unique features of our systems. And of course, you will have plenty of opportunity to provide us with your constructive ideas to help us improve all our products as we move you into the future. Finally, we will also be providing you an in depth look at our new upcoming SQL-server/.NET version of Visual EstiTrack. So please join us this October in beautiful Fort Myers, FL. With your help, we are sure to make this a memorable event. Sincerely, Billie and Rich Henning We have come a long way since our first conference in 1997. 9:15 a.m. Touch Scheduling Board Henning Software s NEW Touch Scheduling Board software system uses a touch screen interface that enables users to drag-and-drop scheduled shop order operations represented as cards within and between work centers. This new planning/scheduling tool is designed to be deployed on large touch-screen monitors on the shop floor and is fully integrated into Henning Software s Visual EstiTrack ERP system. The Touch Scheduling Board emulates and is designed to replace the magnetic scheduling boards often found in shops. A touch-based scheduling board provides an intuitive user interface and familiar magnetic board metaphor, thus reducing the user s learning curve, making it much easier for shop floor personnel to prioritize operations, view/set statuses and move operations from one work center to another. The scheduling board also enables authorized users to change run quantities based on release coverage, view due dates, redefine routers and assign employees to work centers and/or operations. Users can even color code cards by customer, define on-the-fly operational performance notes that can be shared with other shop personnel and set a variety of shop order statuses such as Waiting for Material. Animated icons are used to show hot and late jobs. 10:00 a.m. Break
10:15 a.m. Visual EstiTrack Premium & Ultimate Versions Over the past years Henning Software has been redesigning and building entirely new versions of Visual EstiTrack and Visual Books from the ground up using Microsoft s leading edge.net development technology and its SQL-Server relational database technology. In this session we will take to deep dive into these new and soon to be released versions Visual EstiTrack Premium and Visual EstiTrack Ultimate. We will discuss upgrade version pricing, data conversion costs and estimated release dates for these totally re-engineered versions of Visual EstiTrack and Visual Books. We will also review many of the redesigned screens (e.g., Job Estimating, Shop Orders) in order to demonstrate new ideas and concepts in order to gain constructive feedback from conference attendees. The current classic versions of Visual EstiTrack and Visual Books have been successfully tested in Microsoft s soon to be released Windows 10 desktop operating system. This means users of our classic versions can continue to use our systems on all versions of Windows for many, many years to come. Rest assured that users of our classic versions will continue to be fully supported even after the release of our upcoming Premium and Ultimate versions. In addition, it s important to understand that users will not be required to upgrade to our Premium and Ultimate versions unless they want to. Once our new versions are released, we plan to sell and support all three versions of Visual EstiTrack moving forward.
