KEY PERSONNEL NINA SICKLER, PE PRESIDENT Ms. Sickler has more than 24 years of transportation engineering experience. Her background includes project management for a broad range of multidisciplinary transportation projects throughout Florida, from minor widenings to major, multilevel interchange design. Her structures design expertise includes horizontallycurved steel box girders, AASHTO pre-stressed girder and flat slab bridges, segmental concrete superstructures, and post-tensioned and conventionally reinforced concrete superstructures and substructures. Her highway design experience includes geometric design, signing & marking, maintenance of traffic and lighting design. Ms. Sickler draws upon her extensive experience to ensure clients are provided the quality design and professional experience Landmark is known for. ALAN RAINER, PE CHIEF ROADWAY/DRAINAGE ENGINEER Mr. Rainer has more than 30 years of highway management and design experience. His expertise encompasses a wide range of activities including concept development, horizontal and vertical alignment design, drainage design, signing and pavement marking, utility coordination, maintenance of traffic and cost estimating. Mr. Rainer has successfully managed more than 75 projects throughout Florida and the Southeast. His experience includes design for a variety of projects ranging from 2-lane local collector roads to arterial state roads and major interstates. Mr. Rainer provides innovative leadership to our roadway design team by utilizing his proven project management abilities and design expertise for both complex and simple projects. DUANE MERRELL, PE CHIEF STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Mr. Merrell has more than 35 years experience in the design and analysis of bridge and highway structures. He has served as project manager and senior engineer on bridge replacement, widening and repair projects. His design expertise includes the following structure types: prestressed concrete AASHTO girders; prestressed concrete FIB Girders, prestressed and conventionally reinforced flat slab bridges; prestressed and post-tensioned concrete box girders; and horizontally-curved steel plate girders and steel box girders. He has experience in the design of sheet pile and retaining walls; span & cantilever overhead structures; signal structures; and high-mast lighting. He is also experienced in performing structural inspection, bridge load ratings, fender repairs, joint & railing replacements, deck & beam repairs, and culvert extensions.
RAVI KANNAN, PE SR. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Mr. Kannan has more than 23 years of structural engineering experience in highway and railroad structures. His bridge design expertise includes straight & horizontally-curved steel box and plate girders; AASHTO and FDOT prestressed girder and flat slab bridges, Florida I-Beams and U-Beams with conventionally reinforced cast-in-place concrete decks; concrete double-tee girders; and posttensioned concrete box girders. He has extensive experience in detailing for repair and widening of existing structures and bridge load rating, design of box culverts, overhead sign structures and mast arm and strain pole signal structures. KEVIN FIELDER, PE SR. ROADWAY ENGINEER Kevin Fielder, PE has more than 13 years of experience in the transportation engineering industry. His experience includes project management, design, and plans production on projects including roadway widening, roadway reconstruction and roadway resurfacing; traffic signal installation/rebuild; signing and pavement marking; and interchange and intersection reconfigurations. He is Advanced MOT certified and FDOT certified in Long Range Estimates, and Specifications. CARLOUS BENTLEY SR. ROADWAY DESIGNER Mr. Bentley has more than 18 years expertise on transportation projects, with experience in roadway design, Maintenance of Traffic plans, and signing and pavement marking. Edgewood Avenue Safety Improvements FDOT - D2 Will Lyons 2012-2014 Project Value: $1.8M This 0.49 mile project consists of modifications to existing 850 bridge over CSX and NS railroad tracks to provide sidewalk on both sides of the roadway. Project includes roadway, drainage, structures, lighting, signing & marking and MOT. 9th Street Resurfacing FDOT - D2 Amy Williams 2010-2011 Project Value: $1M This design-build project included the milling and resurfacing of 9th Street from the St. Johns County Line to Osceola Avenue in Duval County. The project also included signing & marking, MOT, signalization and repair of an existing storm sewer line utilizing a non-destructive pipe lining (CIPP). Blackrock Rd Intersection Improvements FDOT - D2 Will Lyons 2010-2011 Project Value: $850K This project included reconstruction, turn lane widening, and resurfacing of Blackrock Rd at SR 200. Additional improvements include new mast arm signals in all four quadrants and relocation of JEA water/sanitary force mains. 8th & 14th Street Resurfacing FDOT - D2 Jeff Daugharty 2009-2010 Project Value: $400K Improvements consisted of asphalt overlay, signing and marking and drainage modifications. The bridge rail and approach guardrail at the Egans Creek Bridge were also upgraded. I-95 at CR210 Interchange Improvements FDOT - D2 Scott Carter (of Prosser Hallock) 2006-2013 Project Value: $7M Project added 1.5 miles of dual exit lanes to I-95 SB at CR 210, widened the existing ramp to five lanes and the entrance ramps to two lanes, and reconstructed CR 210 to 10 lanes. Included signal interconnection, SJRWMD permits, wetland mitigation, OH trusses and bridge-mounted signs. I-95 Concrete Rehab from Greenland Road to JTB Blvd. FDOT - D2 Mike Carter 2011-2013 Project Value: $22M This 6 mile interstate project consists of concrete pavement slab replacement, bridge approach expansion joint rehabilitation, signing & marking, guardrail and overhead sign replacement. I-295 Widening from I-95 N. Interchange to Dames Point Bridge FDOT - D2 Eric Shimer 2011-2012 Project Value: $60M This 13.5 mile project consists of widening I-295 from 6 to 8 lanes, with possibility of future managed lanes. Project includes roadway, drainage, lighting, structures, signing & marking, guardrail and overhead signs. I-95 Widening from International Golf Pkwy. to Duval County Line FDOT - D2 Jeff Daugharty 2011-2012 Project Value: $35M This 8.6 mile project consists of widening I-95 from 6 to 8 lanes from International Golf Parkway to the Duval County line. Project includes roadway, drainage, lighting, structures, signing & marking, guardrail and overhead signs. I-95/JTB Interchange Improvements JTA John Davis 2009-2010 Project Value: $5M This design-build project included improvements to the I-95 ramps at SR 202 (J. Turner Butler Blvd.) in Jacksonville, FL. The on and off ramps were lengthened and widened to provide peak hour relief from I-95 to and from SR 202. Atlantic/University Blvd. Intersection Improvements Jacksonville Transportation Authority Larry Wehner 2001-2009 Project Value: $13M This project involved traffic operational, safety and access management improvements at the Intersection of Atlantic Blvd and University Blvd. Project elements included urban roadway design, drainage & permitting, signing & marking, signalization, mastarm and sign structure design. Replacement of two off-system structurally deficient timber bridges with concrete structures and bulkhead wall along with all associated roadway, drainage, permitting, and utility work. HICSA Structure Inspection & Rehabilitation Harbor Island Community Services Association Steve Wigh 2010-2012 Project Value: $1.0M Inspection and rehabilitation design of precast concrete structure supporting Harbour Island Boulevard in Tampa, FL. Includes evaluation of epoxy and FRP repair methods, cathodic protection, joint replacement, concrete overlay replacement, MOT, and drainage improvements. Kings Road Bridge Rehabilitation City of Neptune Beach Leon Smith 2007-2009 Project Value: $4.4M This FDOT D2 LAP project in Neptune Beach, FL involved rehabilitation of an off-system timber bridge utilizing FRP beam strengthening and pile jackets. Also included bulkhead wall replacement, approach slab, roadway and guardrail upgrades. SFWMD Bridge Inspection Program Civil Services, Inc. Chris Morse 2006-2009 Inspection & repair recommendations for 28 off-system bridges for the South Florida Water Management District. Included rehabilitation of concrete, steel, and timber bridges, bulkhead walls, and guardrail improvements. SR 85 Reconstruction FDOT - D3 Tommy Johns 2010-2012 Project Value: $8.2M This 4.7 mile project in Okaloosa County involved roadway reconstruction and drainage structure replacement which required design of critical sheet pile walls. Included replacement of overlay and expansion joints at bridges over Five Mile Bayou and Garners Bayou. Georgia Pacific Bridge Replacement Clline Construction Hap Cameron 2010 Project Value: $500K Replacement of existing bridge at Georgia Pacific Mill in Palatka, FL included design of 40 ft prestressed flat slab bridge to accommodate HL-93 loading as well as structural and guardrail requirements for special construction vehicles. I-10/US 301 Interchange PD&E Study FDOT - D2 Brandi Vittur 2008-2012 Project Value:$3.7M Rehabilitation/Replacement evaluation of dual bridges on I-10 over CSX Railroad in Duval County to address significant deck and girder deterioration. Included analysis and recommendations for deck repair, steel girder strengthening, complex MOT, and Railroad Coordination. I-95 Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge Connecticut DOT James Platosh 2009-2011 Project Value: $600M Landmark assisted in plans development for both steel-box and concrete segmental alternatives on this I-95 signature bridge over the Quinnipiac River. This is the first extradosed or modified cable-stay bridge constructed in the US. A Landmark representative provided construction coordination between designers, contractors and ConnDOT. Audubon Bridge Replacement Louisiana Department of Transportation Greg Shafer 2007-2011 Project Value: $350M This project included the design and construction of a high-level bridge crossing, 12 miles of new roadway, MOT, drainage and traffic signals. Landmark Engineering provided engineering and project management services. SR 23/Plantation Oaks Blvd Overpass FDOT - D2 Amy Williams 2010-2011 Project Value: $7.2M This design-build project to replace the at grade intersection located at State Road 23 and Plantation Oaks Boulevard with an overpass included the reconstruction of approximately 0.64 miles of roadway and the construction of two new bridges, pedestrian facilities and roadway lighting. SR 200 Widening FDOT - D2 Will Lyons 2009-2011 Project Value: $26.2M This project included reconstruction of approximately 6 miles of State Road 200 (A1A) from Stratton Road to Griffin Road from an existing two lane road to a four lane road. First Extradosed or modified cable-stay bridge constructed in the US This is the first extradosed or modified cable-stay bridge constructed in the US. Design-Build project to construct new overpass over Limited Access facility The main structure that passes over SR 23 is a two span, two lane, 244 long concrete bridge The second bridge is a single span, two lane, 53 long concrete structure that passes over Park Road Project schedule was accelerated as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).

Project Value: $4 Million Location: Duval County, Florida Client: Florida Department of Transportation Reference: Renee Brinkley Phone: (800) 749-2967 PROJECT // SR 115 RESURFACING 3R resurfacing of a three-mile section of urban arterial roadway within northwest Jacksonville. The project included upgrading existing safety features (guardrail, crash cushions, etc.) to meet current safety standards, as well as developing a pavement design to extend the service life of the existing pavement.
