LOGIN PROCESS Enter the ID assigned by Midwest BankCentre (MBC) or your company s administrator in the ID field and the Password provided by your company s administrator in the password field. Note for Administrators: to establish your initial passwords, please refer to the welcome letter you received from Midwest BankCentre. PROCEDURES At first log in, you must agree to the financial institution s Online Agreement Step 1: Review the Online Agreement. Step 2: Check I agree. Step 3: Click Accept to proceed. Declining requires that your password be reset. The first time you sign on you will be required to change your password for security reasons. All users in your company share this initial ID & Password. Be sure to safely and appropriately communicate it between your users. 1

PROCEDURES Type the appropriate password in the current password field, then click in or tab to the next field. Type the new password of your choice, then click in or tab to the next field. Re-enter the exact password that you entered in the previous field. Click Submit. Cash Management User Login Enter the Cash Management User ID and Password assigned by MBC or your company s administrator. This ID is unique to you. PROCEDURES Type the appropriate User Name in the Cash Management ID field, then click in or tab to the Password field. Type the appropriate Password in the Cash Management Password field. Click Login. Create new password 2

CASH MANAGEMENT USER SINGLE SIGN-ON Upon initial login, and cash management user password change, you will be prompted to enter a new, unique Single Sign-on ID and Password. This ID and Password will be used as the sign-on information on all subsequent logins. Each time you log in you will enter this information in the ID and Password fields. PROCEDURES Type a new ID to use as your Single Sign-on ID, then click in or tab to the next field. Type the new password of your choice, then click in or tab to the next field. Re-enter the exact password that you entered in the previous field. Click Submit. 3

WATERMARK SELECTION Select a watermark image. Image appears at all future logins and all pages within NetTeller. When you enter your ID and see this image, you will know that you are logging into your bank s genuine online banking website and not a fraudulent one. MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION SECURITY QUESTION SELECTION For security reasons you may be asked to select three questions. These questions are used to verify your identity in the future if needed. Step 1: Select Continue. 4

Step 2: Select a question from each drop-down menu and input answer. Select Submit. Answers are not case sensitive. Step 3: Review selected questions and answers. Select Confirm. If needed, edit answers before clicking Confirm. Once confirm is selected, questions and answers cannot be modified. 5

Step 1: Setup at least one call-back verification phone number. Any bill payment, ACH file or wire of greater than $1,000.00 will prompt an Out-of-Band authentication to confirm the payment is authorized. Call back verification is an option that can be chosen at that time. Select Next. Step 2: Confirm or edit call back numbers. Once submitted, user cannot make changes. Message will appear stating that your Mulit-Factor Authentication settings have been saved. Click on Continue. You will be asked to confirm/update your email address that is on file. Enter or confirm email address. 6

Navigation All available modules are displayed here. Modules enabled for you will depend on your user access. Options for each module are located within the tab for that module. Click the tab to access the available options for each online banking module. MODULE DESCRIPTIONS Main: Access accounts and account activities and view interest rates. Bill Payment: Establish payees, schedule and review bill payments and bill payment history. Cash Manager: Access the ACH, Wire, and ARP modules, User administration, and Reporting. Options: Change PIN/Password information, Email address, Account settings, default Display options, and establish Alerts. 7

ACCOUNT LISTING PAGE Accounts are separated into three categories: Deposit, Loan, and Other. You will only see categories and accounts to which you have been given access. FIELD DESCRIPTIONS Balance: This is the account s available balance. Status: The status of the account New, Dormant or Closed. Customer Summary Information: This summarizes the total dollar amount in your deposit accounts as well as any loan accounts. Reset Counter: Click the Reset Counter link in the Customer Summary Information section to reset the access counter. View: Change the number of accounts displayed per page. Select a default display setting under Options > Display Settings. 8

MY NETTELLER - PROVIDES A CUSTOMIZABLE DASHBOARD VIEW OF VARIOUS NETTELLER OPTIONS. My NetTeller Page Configuration USE THE SET AS START PAGE CONFIGURE THIS PAGE OPTION, WHICH APPEARS IN THE TOP LEFT PORTION OF THE SCREEN, TO CUSTOMIZE THE MY NETTELLER PAGE. SET AS START PAGE: CHECK THIS BOX TO SAVE THE MY NETTELLER PAGE AS THE LANDING SCREEN UPON LOGIN. IF LEFT UNSELECTED, YOU MUST ACTIVELY NAVIGATE TO THE MY NETTELLER OPTION TO ACCESS THIS SCREEN. Configure This Page: Upon clicking this link, a lightbox window appears allowing control over which widgets to display. Any widgets not currently displayed are listed in the right column of the lightbox 9

window and can be added. To configure the page: Step 1: Choose a column to work with from the Select Column To Configure drop-down field. The names of widgets (items) assigned to that column appear below. My NetTeller has a Left, Center and Right column. The default selection is Left Column. Widgets are preassigned into specific columns on the My NetTeller page and cannot be moved to different columns. Step 2: Add or remove widgets and change the order of display, if desired. Step 3: Return to Step 1 until all columns have been set up. Step 4: Click Save to retain changes made to all columns. The Configure This Page lightbox closes and the My NetTeller page reloads to reflect the changes. My NetTeller Widget Configuration While the configuration concept for each widget is the same, the content within the configuration lightbox window varies based on the purpose of the widget. The Configure icon does not appear on widgets where configuration is not applicable. To configure a widget: 10

Step 1: Click the Configure icon on the widget. The Configure lightbox appears: Step 2: Review the items being displayed (left side of lightbox) and items not currently displayed (right side of lightbox). Step 3: Add or remove items and change the order of display, if desired. Step 4: Click Save to retain changes made to the widget. The Configure lightbox closes and the widget reloads to reflect the changes. 11

ACCOUNT ACTIVITY OPTIONS All available fields are displayed here. Fields enabled for you will depend on your user access. DROP-DOWN MENU ACTIVITIES Transactions: View transactions posted to your account, view images, and search for specific transactions. Download: Download transaction history in different formats (Microsoft Money, Spreadsheet, etc.) Statements: View your account statements. Statement history is available for up to 18 months. Stop Payments: Add or view stop payments for your account. Transfers: Add, view, edit or delete account-to-account funds transfers. Transfers that have been set up by MBC cannot be edited or deleted. Current Day: Displays current day information for the selected account. This information is updated throughout the day. Prior Day: Displays prior day information for the selected account. This information is updated nightly. 12

TRANSACTIONS TRANSACTIONS SUB-MENU NAVIGATION OPTIONS Current Transactions: View recent transactions. Download: Download transactions in to Personal or Commercial Financial Management software, or as a text file or spreadsheet. Search: Search for specific transactions that have posted to your account. Transactions can be sorted by clicking on the column header. Columns available for sorting are Date, Ref/Check No., Debit, and Credit. 13

TRANSFERS TRANSFERS SUB-MENU NAVIGATION OPTIONS New: Schedule new funds transfers. Pending: View, Edit, and Delete scheduled transfers. History: View processed transfers. PROCEDURES ADD FUNDS TRANSFER Enter transfer information. Transfers funds from: Account that will be debited for the funds transfer. Transfer funds to: The account that will be credited. Payment Options: Payment options are available if you are transferring to a loan account. Transfer Amount: The dollar amount of the funds transfer. Frequency: How often the transfer will occur. Options include One-Time, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly and Monthly. (Depending on the frequency selected, additional fields will display on the page e.g. expiration date, day of month, etc.). Transfer Date: Enter the date that the transfer should happen. 14

Transfer Memo: Enter any descriptive information for the funds transfer. This information displays with the transaction and on your statement. Review the Funds Transfer information and click Edit to change the information, or click Confirm to complete the transfer. After confirmation a transfer summary and confirmation number display. Retain this information for your records. Click Add Another Transfer to enter another transfer of funds, or click Pending in the navigation menu to review any scheduled transfers. 15

STOP PAYMENTS STOP PAYMENT SUB-MENU NAVIGATION OPTIONS New: Place a new Stop Payment on the select account Current: View Stop Payment placed on the selected account. PROCEDURES ADD A STOP PAYMENT Enter Stop Payment information. Stop Payments are subject to a service charge. Please contact Midwest BankCentre for current fee information. Add Stop Payment for Account: Select the account to which the Stop Payment is for. Check Date: Enter the date the check was issued. Check Number: Enter the number of the check for which you are placing the stop. Amount: Enter the dollar amount of the check. Payee: Enter the name of the person or company to which you issued the check. Remarks: Enter any remarks about the item or stop payment (e.g. lost check, duplicate). 16

Click Submit to review the Stop Payment information. Review the Stop Payment information. Click Edit to change the information, or Confirm to complete the setup of the Stop Payment. Click Add Another Stop to enter another Stop Payment, or click Current in the navigation menu to review existing Stop Payments. *You must contact MBC to revoke any Stop Payments. 17

Statements Statement History is available for 12 months. Statements are available in three formats: PDF Text HTML Use the drop-down menu next to a statement to choose the viewing format. Select a different account from the View Statements for drop-down menu to view a statement for another account. 18

CASH MANAGER The Cash Manager tab contains all of the Cash Management functionality, including: o o o o o o ACH (Direct Deposit, Auto Pay, and Tax payments) Wires (Domestic and International) Positive Pay User Administration Reporting File Status (for uploaded files) Fields enabled for you will depend on your user access 19

USERS PROCEDURES SET UP A NEW CASH MANAGEMENT USER Step 1: Select Users from the Cash Manager tab. Click New CM User. Step 2: Complete the User Settings. User Name: Name of cash management user. User ID: Sign on for cash management user. 20

Administration: No: Cannot create/edit cash management users. Cannot change settings. Yes: Full administrative rights. Can create/edit cash management users and change settings (alias, password, email and account settings.) Partial: Can change NetTeller settings (alias, password, email and account settings) but cannot create/edit cash management users. View: View-only authority. Cannot change any settings or cash management users. Password: Establish a password for the cash management user. System will prompt the user to change the password at initial login and when password is reset. Wire Password: 4-digit number needed to transmit a wire transfer to bank. Allow User Download: Download and print prior day activity. Hold User: If selected, user will not be able to log in. If user exceeds maximum login attempts, this box becomes checked. Uncheck the box and click Submit to unlock the user. E-mail Address: User s email address. May only be modified by full administrator. Access Times: Establish specific time frames Cash Management user can sign in. ACH Limit: Maximum amount user can initiate per day. Wire Limit: Maximum amount user can transmit per wire. Transfer Limit: Maximum amount Cash Management user can transfer between accounts per transfer. Display/Download ACH: View batch details and download batch to.pdf or NACHA format. Full ACH Control: If selected, allows Cash Management user to take multiple actions within a batch without requiring action from a second Cash Management user. If deselected, dual control is required. Restricted Batch Access: Cash Management user can view and work with restricted batches. Work with ACH: Create/edit ACH batches and transactions. Upload ACH: Upload NACHA files into ACH. Initiate ACH: Send batch to financial institution for processing. Delete ACH: Remove ACH batch from system. Import Transaction: Upload transaction file into system (CSV, Fixed Position, tab delimited and NACHA). Update Transaction: Upload transaction file into ACH. Will change dollar amount only for matching transactions. Will not create new transactions. Step 3: Complete the Default Settings. 21

Transaction Inquiry: View list of transactions Statement Inquiry: View available NetTeller statements. Current Day Balance: View current balance and activity totals. Prior Day Balance: View balance and activity totals as of previous business day. Stop Inquiry: View information on existing stop payments. Stop Additions: Enter new stop payments. NetTeller Bill Pay: Access bill pay module. Define Non-Rep Wires: Create new single wire transfers. Edit Non-Rep Wires: Modify/delete single wire transfers. Define Rep Wires: Create wire templates. Edit Rep Wires: Modify/delete wire templates. Transmit Wires: Initiate wire to financial institution for processing. Full Wire Control: If selected, allows cash management user to take multiple actions within a wire without requiring action from a second cash management user. If deselected, dual control is required. View Rates: View financial institution s interest rates if enabled. ES: Enroll/unenroll in Electronic Statement product. Upload Positive Pay: Send issued items file to financial institution. Work Positive Pay Items: Make decisions to pay/return exception items. Transfers: Move money between accounts. Select Accounts: Choose accounts for which Cash Management User will have access. 22

Step 4: Complete Account Settings (if enabled). View Access for Account: Select the account to work with. Edit Access Rights: Modify default access rights for account. Step 5: You will be contacted by Midwest BankCentre to verify your request to add an additional user. Notice: Be aware of fraud! The user, John Doe, has been created or modified by admin. For security reasons, this user s access has been suspended pending our approval. Please contact Midwest BankCentre to activate this user. If you did not create this user, please contact us immediately at (314) 631-5500 or (800) 894-1350 Thank you for your business. 23

Reporting Prior Day Displays balance information, float information and activity totals for previous business day. 24

Current Day Displays balance information and activity totals for current business day. 25

Position Displays balance information and transactions that posted to the account on the previous business day. All accounts will display. 26

OPTIONS Manage email addresses and passwords, account settings, display settings, and alerts. Personal Depending upon permissions, you may have the ability to edit alias, passwords, company email address and Personal Question and Answer (used for Password Self Reset). 27

Account Edit account pseudo names and change the order in which accounts display in NetTeller. Display Edit default view settings. 28

Alerts Set up Event Alerts, Balance Alerts, Item Alerts and Personal Alerts. 29

Challenge Process Authenticating with Security Questions - Any payment of greater than $1,000 will prompt the following menus each time. Step 1: Two of the three questions are presented. Step 2: Answer questions. Select Submit. Failing Challenge Questions User has three chances to correctly answer the challenge questions. After three invalid attempts, user is blocked from that authentication method. Please contact Midwest BankCentre during normal business hours. 30

Authenticating with Out-of-Band Call Back Step 1: Select Optional Authorization. Step 2: Select one of the numbers previously established. Select Call Me. Step 3: User must receive call from touch tone phone and input the code that displays on the NetTeller screen. Code is entered on phone s keypad. Failing the Out-of-Band Call Back User has three attempts to input correct code into telephone. After three failed calls, the user is blocked from the Call Back authentication option. 31

MESSAGE CENTER Send secure messages to and receive secure messages from Midwest BankCentre. Step 1: Select Secure Email. SENDING NEW MESSAGE Step 2: Click New. Fill out message information. Click Submit. From: Your NetTeller Online Banking ID. E-mail: E-mail address as entered in Options. E-mail address is used to send an automated email notifying you when the financial institution responds to your message. Name: Full name. Subject: Enter a subject for the message. Urgency: The level selected flags the message accordingly. Message: Enter the message. Attachment: Browse for a file and attach to the message. Possible types are PDF, Text, HTML, Word, and Excel. 32

RECEIVING MESSAGES An automated email is sent informing you of a new message from your financial institution. After a successful login, a red flashing icon followed by a link that reads You have X new messages displays. Click the link to view the message within the Message Center. Once the message is viewed, you may view, reply or delete the message. Messages stay in the inbox until deleted. 33

EDOCS OVERVIEW edocs allows you to receive your account statements and notices electronically. The first statement and/or notice you receive after you have enrolled for edocs will still be sent via mail and you will also receive email notification that your statement and/or notice is available to view through online banking. All future statements and notices will be accessed via NetTeller/eDocs only. ENROLL FOR EDOCS A tab at the top of the page will display the Online Banking options. Click on the edocs tab. Once you click on edocs, you will be asked to proceed with the enrollment process. Step 1: Account(s) and Document Enrollment. By default, the most common document types are selected for all accounts. If you do not wish to receive all notices or statements electronically, select Details and remove checkboxes beside the corresponding documents. Step 2: Validate Email Address If you have an email address on file, it will display in this field. If not, or if you need to update your email address, you may do so here. 34

Step 3: Enter Security Phrase The security phrase you choose will be included in the subject line in all emails regarding your edocs, as a way to authenticate the emails. Step 4: Enter PDF Passcode You will select click here to view the Adobe PDF document. A PDF opens in a new window. This step is your key to knowing if you ll be able to read edocs online. You must have Adobe Reader 6.0 or higher installed on your computer to use the service. (Passcode is CASE- SENSITIVE) Step 5: Accept Terms and Disclosures Select the checkbox then click Enroll Now to complete enrollment. The Enrollment Confirmation appears in a separate window. Select OK to complete the process. 35

Once you have enrolled, you will then have access to the edocs menu toolbar. You will always have access to update your email address and security phrase under the Email Settings tab. CHECKING CHANGING EDOC ACCOUNTS Under the Documents and Settings tab of the edocs toolbar, you can always update the list of accounts for which you would like to receive edocs. Follow the directions at the top of the page in order to select your account(s) and document(s). No selections will be saved until you click Save Settings at the bottom of the page. RECONCILING YOUR STATEMENT WITH EDOCS You have the option to reconcile your account statement with edocs. Click on the Reconciliation Wizard tab at the top left of the edocs toolbar and follow the steps. 36

RECEIVING AND VIEWING EDOCS When your current statement or notice is ready for you to view, you will receive an email notification from us with your chosen security phrase in the subject line. You can click on the link that will direct you to the bank s Online Banking site. If you have any additional recipients, also receiving your edocs, they will log in with the username and access pin you assigned them when you added the user in the Additional Recipient area. Once you or your additional recipient(s) logs in, data included in your statement or notice is streamed via a secure 128-bit SSL encryption and your edoc will open in a new window. Your edoc will be in the form of an Adobe.pdf (Portable Document Format) file and you can choose to save the file to your computer. Otherwise, your selected statement and/or notices will be available to you via NetTeller/eDocs for 18 months beginning with the date of edocs enrollment. SEARCHING FOR A STATEMENT IN EDOCS To find one of these statements or notices, click on the edocs tab within Online Banking. The Statements and Notices page will be the first page you view. You can choose which account to view in the account drop-down box. A list of available statements and notices to view will then be listed. Simply click on View under the View Details column to view the statement or notice. 37
