We offer several services that let you decide when and how you want to interact with us via telephone, ATM or online. This guide is designed to help answer your questions about how Busey ebank works and how it can help manage your finances online. In addition to accessing your account information and transferring funds, you ll also be able to export account information and pay your bills online. 3 Security At Busey Bank, the security of your personal and account information is a high priority. We have installed strong, multi-layered measures to keep your funds protected and secure when you use Busey ebank. Let s take a quick look at the security measures at each stop along the way. Encryption Technology Good security starts at home, in the office or wherever you access your accounts online. Through the use of encryption technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which uses 8-bit encryption to scramble information as it passes through the Internet, you can be assured your information is safe and secure. While online, your computer and the Bank s computer randomly pick a number that will serve as the key during your brief time online. The pool of possible numbers during a 8-bit session is so large that it is practically impossible to guess the number (key) used when scrambling and unscrambling data. This feature will prevent anyone from eavesdropping on your data as it travels between you and Busey Bank. Firewall Protection For added security, once your information reaches the Busey ebank server, it passes through a firewall. The firewall is a computer designed specifically to keep unauthorized users from accessing data and ensures your information is safe.

4 Security Enhanced Login Security In addition to password security, extra steps to verify your identity have been installed on our system. This security is called Enhanced Login Security. Part of this identification process includes recognizing the computer and browser you normally use to access Busey ebank. This information, along with your normal login details, is incorporated into your online identity profile. If we don t recognize your computer or browser as one you normally use, you will be prompted to answer three challenge questions as an additional line of defense against unauthorized access. With these extra layers of security in place, your account information is protected from a broad range of security issues. 5 Getting Started Our home page makes Busey ebank easily accessible. Open your Internet browser and go to our website, Enter your ID and Password in the field provided. Click FL Login for Florida account holders and IL Login for Illinois account holders. *Effective after May 9-0, 009. Note: If you are logging in from a computer you haven t used before, you will be prompted to answer challenge questions as an additional line of defense against unauthorized access to your accounts. As a security measure, if you or someone attempting to gain access to your account uses an incorrect ID and/or Password three times in a row, your account will be locked. Please contact us to reset your account. 5

6 Account Access 5 4 Once you log in to Busey ebank, the first screen you will see is Account Access. In addition to serving as your access portal to all the features of Busey ebank, this page displays a quick view of each of your accounts with Busey Bank. With Account Access, you can view your current deposit and loan balances, view several months of transaction history and transfer funds between accounts. Use the tabs in the menu bar to navigate through Busey ebank. The submenu links will change based on the topic selected. Click the account name to display the detailed history for that account. Use the Quick Transfer feature to easily transfer funds between your accounts. 4 Select the Printer-Friendly Version link to print a simplified copy of your account information. 6 B U S E Y B A N K 5 The balance column shows the current balance for each account.

7 Account Detail When you select an Account Name from the Account Summary page, a detailed listing of your account history will display for quick convenient access. Click the check number link to view the front and back image of your check. To view a different date range, enter the dates in the fields provided, then click Submit to view the information. If you would like to view another account, select the account from the drop-down menu, then click Submit. 4 With the Quick Export feature, you can download transaction history into Quicken, QuickBooks, Money or CSV file. 4 W W W. 8 Transfer Funds It s easy to transfer money from one account to another. Manage your budgeting needs by creating transfers and choosing from a variety of frequency options. With the Transfer Funds feature, you can control when and how often money will be transferred. Scheduled Transfer Enter the Transfer Amount and select the account to transfer funds FROM and TO. Select the transfer start date. Then, enter the frequency information, an address and message to send once the transfer is completed. 8 B U S E Y B A N K Express Transfer For an Express Transfer, enter the Transfer Amount. 4 Select the account to transfer funds FROM and TO. Click either Save Transfer or Transfer Funds to process the transfer. You ll be presented with a confirmation page to review before completing the transfer. If the information is correct, click Confirm Transfer to complete the transfer. 4

9 Account Export With the Account Export feature, you can export your personal account information to your financial software. Track your expenses and monitor your budgets by downloading your daily account activity. When you export your account information into Microsoft Money, QuickBooks, Quicken or CSV file, the information is saved on your computer for future use. Click Account Export under the Account Access menu to begin the download. 4 Select the account information and the date range to export. 10 Personal FinanceWorks TM Gain greater control over all your finances with FinanceWorks TM, a powerful tool that will help you manage your spending, savings, credit cards and loan accounts, all without leaving Busey ebank. You can access Personal FinanceWorks TM by clicking on the FinanceWorks TM link in the Account Access submenu. You can also click on the FinanceWorks TM image on the Account Access screen. 11 FinanceWorks TM Overview FinanceWorks TM allows you to track your spending, savings and add external accounts, including deposits, credit cards and loans even create bill reminders through a single, easy-to-use menu. Use the tabs in the menu to navigate FinanceWorks TM. View your accounts being tracked here. You can add, edit or delete accounts shown in FinanceWorks TM. 12 Search All Accounts Save time and avoid costly oversights by using the Search for transactions feature in FinanceWorks TM. You can search all your accounts by payee, check number, note or amount, without having to log in to each individual account. Begin by clicking Transactions in the main menu. Be sure that the accounts you wish to search are selected in the My Accounts area. Enter the search criteria in the field provided, then click go. 4 Transactions will be displayed by date. 13 Add a New Account Whether it s a credit card, car loan or savings account, FinanceWorks TM makes it easy to add an account from outside Busey Bank. From the My Finances screen, click Add. 4 Enter the name of the institution that holds the account you would like to add. You can search for the institution you would like to add from our database of institutions. 4 If you are unable to locate the institution for the account you wish to add, click here. W W W. 14 Statements Statements are a convenient way to access all your monthly statements right from your desktop. Plus, it eliminates the need to store excess paper in your home or office. By accepting the Statement disclosure, you have agreed to receive your statements on-line rather than in the mail. Click Statements under the Account Access menu to accept the disclosure. Select the Account Number and the Statement Month you would like to view, then click Submit. Note: The statement will appear in a secondary window. You must have Adobe Reader installed on your computer to view the statement. You may download this free software from 4 B U S E Y B A N K

15 Notifications If you need help tracking your account balances, the Notifications feature will help you with managing your financial goals. You can be notified via every time your Busey Bank accounts reach a specified limit. To start, select Notifications from the navigation menu. Use the Advanced Setup menu to add custom notifications, such as maturity dates on certificates. To activate a notification, highlight the check box and select the account you wish to be notified about. 16 Bill Payment Overview If you didn t register for Bill Payment during Busey ebank enrollment, click Bill Payment to complete the Bill Payment registration process. After your registration is complete, you will receive an informing you that you can begin using Bill Payment. Use this menu to navigate the Bill Payment system. Note: You may not use Bill Payment to pay governmental fees such as taxes or court-directed obligations such as child support. 6 B U S E Y B A N K

17 Payees A payee is any person or company that you pay, including your utility company, credit card company, or even your baby sitter anyone to whom you would normally send a check. Payment information can be found on the Make Payments screen. 4 5 Previously set up payees are shown here, along with current payment information. Pending payments can be viewed and edited here. 18 Set Up Payees Payees need to be established before they can be set up to receive payments electronically. It only takes a minute to set up new payees. It is helpful to have a recent bill or statement available to reference your payee s information. Begin by entering the payee name in the Pay Someone New field on the Make Payments screen, then click Continue. If the payee is found in the database, you can enter your account number and the Zip code to where you send your payments. Click Continue to proceed. Enter the payee address in the fields provided. Click Continue to proceed. You will be asked to confirm the payee details on the next screen. 8 B U S E Y B A N K

19 Make Payments Bill Payment allows you to enter one or all of your bill payments from a single screen. All of your payees are listed for payment entry and maintenance. Allow three business days for an electronic payment and five business days for a paper check payment to process. Select the account from which to fund the payments from the drop-down menu. Enter the payment amount for each payment. If a payee does not require a payment, leave the field blank. Enter the date or select the date from the calendar feature. 4 4 Click Pay on the corresponding payee line to have the payment scheduled for processing. W W W. B U S E Y. C O M 9

20 Make Recurring Payments Never be late on another bill by using Bill Payment s Recurring Payment feature. With Recurring Payments, you can conveniently set up payments to be made automatically on a regularly occurring basis. Click the payee options drop-down menu (next to payee name) and select Pay automatically. Select the Funding Account from the drop-down menu. Select the Recurring Payment option and enter the Amount, Frequency, Start on Date, then click Save Changes. You may edit these options at anytime. 0 B U S E Y B A N K

21 Edit & Delete Payments Once you have scheduled a payment, you still have the option to edit or delete the payment prior to processing. Edits or cancellations must be completed by 9:0 p.m. CT the day of the Send On date. Click Edit or Cancel next to the payment you wish to edit in the Pending Payments section. You can edit a single payment or you can edit the automatic payment rule by clicking here. Edit the Amount to pay, the Send On date, the Pay from account or the Payment category, then click Save to process the change. W W W. B U S E Y. C O M

22 Electronic Bill Presentment Receiving your billing statements electronically is ideal for anyone using Bill Payment, but especially convenient for those who want to go paperless. You can retrieve your billing statements from anywhere you have access to the Internet. You can even set up the electronic bill notification to be sent directly to your personal account. Click the Set up E-bill link next to the name of the payee you wish to set up. Review the on-screen instructions, select the corresponding billing cycle for the payee, then click Save changes to proceed. You can edit the E-bill details in the next screen. B U S E Y B A N K

23 Electronic Bill Presentment (continued) Once an E-bill has been set up, you can view the details of that bill directly from within Bill Payment, then pay the bill quickly and easily. You will receive an notification alerting you when a bill has been scheduled for payment and again once the bill has been paid. Click View Bill from the Make Payments screen to view the bill. 24 Reports & Payment History The Reports feature allows you to sort your account information in a variety of ways, including payment history. Once you have created a report, you can save the settings to use again in the future. Click the Create a Report link to start a report. Give the report a title and select the options to include in the report. Check Save as default report to use the report again in the future. 4 Click here to generate the report. 4 4

25 Stop Payments Busey ebank provides added security and convenience by allowing you to place a stop payment on a check right from your desktop. Select the account the check originated from and enter a comment such as the reason for the stop payment. Enter the check number, amount, issue date and the payee name, then click Submit. Note: To stop a payment scheduled through Busey ebank Bill Payment, please contact Busey Customer Support. 5

26 6 Other Services It s important to keep your personal contact information up to date. If there is ever a problem with your account, Busey Bank will need to contact you. The User Options feature enables you to edit your address and other important settings. Change Password Change your Busey ebank password. For your protection, you should avoid using easily guessed terms such as names of family members or pets, birth dates, or any other information accessible through public records. We also recommend you change your password every 90 days. Change Timeout For your security, the Busey ebank system will automatically log you out after a period of inactivity. You can adjust the length of the timeout period here. Address It s important to enter your address and keep it up to date so Busey ebank can contact you via about your accounts. History Date Range Set the date range for the transaction list that first appears when you enter an account detail screen. Default History Sort Order Set the way you prefer transactions sorted when you enter an account detail screen. Change Start Page Normally, the Account Summary screen is the first to appear when you log in, but you can select another page if you prefer. Change Account Nicknames Change the descriptive names for each of your accounts. Nicknames are much easier to use than account numbers. You can also control which accounts are displayed by clicking the Enable box. Forgotten Password Setup Use this option to select the questions and answers that will validate your identity if you forget your password. Contact Us Chat live, send a secure or search the knowledge base for answers to your questions.

27 Frequently Asked Questions Is personal information stored in Busey ebank with Bill Payment? Our system stores your User ID, Password, user preferences, E-bill account numbers and log in information. Tracked stock portfolio information is also stored. How current is my banking information? Your account information is updated every business day with the previous business day s postings. Available balances are updated as online transactions occur. What accounts will I be able to access through Busey ebank? You can access your checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and loan accounts within Busey ebank. All other types of accounts can be tracked via FinanceWorks TM. How many stocks can I track in my online portfolio? Up to 0 stocks. What happens if I forget or lose my password? If you have set up a series of questions to use in the event you forget your password, you will be asked those questions. If you correctly answer them, then you will be allowed access. You may also call us during regular business hours to have your password reset. What is required to use the Busey ebank service? A computer with Internet access and a secure browser that supports 8-bit encryption, (see page 4). How much account information can I view at once? The system will show the previous 0 day s transactions and information by default. By selecting User Preferences, you may alter that range. How long can I be inactive before being logged out of Busey ebank? The inactivity timeout default is set for 0 minutes. You may change the timeout period in the User Options area to 5, 0, 0, 0 or 40 minutes. What is the cut off time for same day processing? The cut off time for Busey ebank transfers is 5 p.m. CT. Online bill payments can be made up to 9:0 p.m. CT. What is the difference between account balance and available balance? Account balance is the total amount of funds you had available in your account at the close of the previous business day and includes any funds on hold. The available balance is the total amount of funds available for withdrawal which reflects all current day deposits, credits, withdrawals and debits made. W W W. B U S E Y. C O M 7
