POSITION DESCRIPTION Job Title: Digital Content Administrator 0.5 FTE fixed term Work Unit: Responsible To: Responsible For: Digital Team Digital Platform Manager Implementation of the overall Social Media Strategy. Responsible for delivering upon the metrics assigned to each channel within the social media domain. Control, design, source, write, develop, edit and publish content that engages and enrols external stakeholders in the DHB websites and key social media channels. Implement an engagement strategy (within social media) to stimulate conversation with new and existing health consumers, and external influencers and stakeholders (engage in online conversations on behalf of BoPDHB). Manage brand reputation and customer satisfaction in the online space. Provide administrative support to the Digital Platform Manager for project work. Position Purpose: This job exists to: Implement the online editorial policy The creation and acquisition of verbal content (primarily textual but also audio and moving images) Implementation the overall Social Media Strategy Provide advice and support to the wider DHB as well as communications, print and web staff. Alert digital platform manager if external support is required. Share responsibility for departmental reporting. PERSON SPECIFICATION Qualifications Preferred: A tertiary qualification in communications, public relations or marketing and/or relevant work experience Knowledge / Experience Strong experience in building social media strategies across multi-divisional organisations Extensive communications experience developing, sourcing and editing editorial content and or corporate communications.
