JOB REQUIREMENTS Key Result Area 1 Organisational Support Key Tasks: Develop and execute communication strategy to optimise fundraising Define key value propositions and key messages for segmented audiences Work with agencies to define creative elements Develop and execute campaign plans to drive fundraising through EDM, Social Media and other media. Support the organisation to engage with our external and internal stakeholders via social media channels and other opportunities Build the reputation of MS to external clients and supporters as experts in multiple sclerosis Fundraising budgets are met Consistent messaging across the entire Organisation Brand guidelines are adhered to Key Result Area 2 Organisational Support Key Tasks: Support retention and acquisition of event fundraisers and participants Work with event sales and relationship teams to develop compelling EDMs and social media content to re-engage past participants Work as part of the marketing team to optimise word of mouth recommendation of event participation utilising social media, viral marketing and other targeted direct initiatives. Increase level of communication to internal and external Increased level of retention of event participants Increase level of engagement across all social media channels by at least 20% 2

3 Key Result Area 3 Relationship Management Key Tasks: Oversee the Ambassador Program Improve the operating structure of the program to expand the impact of Ambassadors Ensure clear goals and performance indicators are established for the Ambassador Coordinators Increase the take-up of Ambassadors to support fundraising activities Manage two Ambassador co-ordinators Increased level of activity within the Ambassador program to drive fundraising Increased level of engagement within the community Ensure all Ambassadors have the necessary material, collateral and information that is consistent across the Organisation Key Result Area 4 Administration Key Tasks: Reporting and Management Contribute to the timely development of reports on the impact of marketing communications activities. Develop systems and communication resources to assist in supporting the sales and relationships teams Manage a team of three in accordance with performance management & planning requirements Budgets are met and invoices are processed in a timely manner Return on investment with key results achieved for money spent Budget is achieved. 3

Selection Criteria Essential: Significant experience in a similar role. Demonstrable experience and broad knowledge in all aspects of Communications including social media, electronic and traditional media Tertiary qualifications or similar in Communications Experience in developing and implementing communications programs to drive fundraising participation and revenue. Excellent writing and editing skills Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a management team and can add value in decision making beyond area of accountability. Ability to network and develop effective working relationships 4

5 Demonstrated ability to achieve results through strong influence and consultative skills. Pragmatic, assertive, organised and demonstrates sound judgment. Resilience and proven ability to adapt style and approach to suit varying situations. High levels of computer literacy in using a range of Office computer packages People management skills including strong team management capability Current Driver Licence Desirable Experience in a fundraising organisation E.
