Superannuation: CBH has its own competitive corporate superannuation fund, which we support by contributing to the management costs of the fund, this means lower costs for you if you choose to become a member. Internal assisstance is available for all members of the fund for any superannuation enquiries. The CBH super fund was ranked number one in 2011 and number three in 2012 for five year fund level rates of return by the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA). Salary Sacrificing: Eligible employees can designate additional salary amounts to their elected superannuation fund. Salary Packaging is a way to reduce your tax liability and increase your take home pay. Retirement support: Employees aged 55 years and over are entitled to payment of 50 percent of their accrued unused sick leave on retirement. We can also provide access to financial planning and other resources to assist you in preparing for your retirement. Your wellbeing Our commitment to providing a safe workplace and looking out for your wellbeing includes a continued focus on maintaining a strong safety culture, with health and safety initiatives being implemented across the business. Employee Assistance Program (EAP): A free and confidential counselling service available to all CBH employees and their immediate family members through an accredited external service provider. Get support with work, personal and family matters. Paraplegic Benefit Fund (PBF): All permanent employees are automatically provided membership to PBF, which can also be extended to immediate family members for a discounted fee. This service provides a payout of $100,000 in the event of a spinal cord injury, to use for any purpose; wage continuance, medical bills, etc. In partnership with Expect a Star, we have established the CBH Family Program. We understand that balancing the needs of family can sometimes be challenging. To support you in this area we have two dedicated websites one for parents and the other for employees caring for older relatives. Both sites provide support and resources to help such as child care and nanny services, support groups, government assistance available, care providers and activities for children and the elderly. Achievement & Development Review (ADR) is the specially developed and individually tailored performance appraisal system used by CBH to align our values and behaviours, set individual objectives and create meaningful development plans to support career progression. Your manager will work with you to develop your ADR and give regular feedback on your progress as well as provide support to assist you in achieving your career goals.
