4 Remuneration Staff are paid above Award rates in the relevant Award; Social, Community, Homecare and Disability Services Industry Award Annual performance based remuneration reviews. Salary Packaging Based on our charitable status, Link is able to offer the following salary packaging benefits through a fully accredited salary packaging provider; AccessPay. Significantly reduce your PAYG tax and increase your take home pay through these options: Salary sacrifice up to $15,900 from your pre-tax salary. Additional option to package more of your pre-tax salary for meals, holiday accommodation and venue hire. Salary package a new or used car (with or without running costs) from your pre-tax income; our provider even helps you source the best price for the car of your choice. Salary sacrifice additional superannuation up to the allowable limit to further reduce your taxable income. Purchase mobile devices, laptops and tablets from your pre-tax salary when used predominantly for work. Leave Link Housing offers leave options significantly above and beyond minimum standards; Award staff enjoy 17.5% leave loading Up to 5 days leave in advance. Apply for up to 5 annual leave days before it has been accrued. Purchase up to an additional 2 weeks annual leave each year! Parental Leave - 6 weeks paid parental leave for the stay at home parent at the time of birth or adoption of a child or get paid for longer and take it as half pay for 12 weeks. 2 weeks paid parental leave for the non-primary care giver or 4 weeks at half pay Study Leave take up to 2 days leave per subject for pre-approved courses. Long Service leave take your prorated long service leave after just 5 years of service as opposed to the minimum standard requirement of 10 years. Provision to apply for leave without pay for those extra-long breaks and events Access your annual leave or personal leave in part day periods. 4 I Link Rewards
5 Flexible Working Arrangements Link Housing offers flexible working arrangements to its employees. We give employees access to options that assist them achieve balance between their work and outside commitments and are committed to reasonably accommodating an employee s need for flexibility and certain times in their lives. Link Housing offers the following flexible working arrangements: Request to change your working hours or pattern of work ie start and finish times for a period of time Flexi time; completing your ordinary hours of work at times that meet your needs and within Link s core business hours. Requests to work from home on occasion Accessing Personal leave and Annual leave in single or part days Requests for leave without pay Time in lieu Personal and Professional Development Performance, careers and learning and development are all embedded components of Link Housing s culture and HR framework. We turn this into every day by: Individual annual performance and development planning Annual career discussions that are documented in the online Talent Management system 100% reimbursement of study fees for approved applicants (called twice per year in line with uni semesters) Annual training, conferences and seminars budget equivalent to over $1,000 per employee Separate budget for professional subscriptions and membership Monthly 121 s for all employees Opportunity to participate in projects and opportunities for secondments and higher duties/internal promotions Employee Testimonials Link listened to me when I was struggling to balance my work life with outside commitments.
