2 more than just a payslip The table below summarises the benefits package that Stewardship provides to all our staff, which is reviewed on an annual basis to ensure that it is competitive against the local, and the UK charity sector job markets. All of these benefits are over and above the statutory minimum requirements. Leave Paid annual leave Paid sick leave (after successful completion of your probationary period) Paternity Leave 1 Moving house 25 days per annum (pro rata for parttime employees) Up to 3 months at the full rate of salary and up to a further 3 months at half the full rate of salary First week paid at full salary 2 days (paid) Pension & Death in service Employer Contribution into (Grouped) Personal Pension Plan (after 3 months continuous employment) Salary Sacrifice Scheme for Pension Contributions Death in service cover 10% of annual salary Employee National Insurance saving, plus 50% of Stewardship s NI saving passed on to employee Four times annual salary Discretionary benefits Paid leave for attending the funeral of a relative Dependant s Leave Christmas leave Christmas Payment Additional leave for long-term service 1 day The number of days and whether it is paid will depend on the situation 2 days Discretionary 1 week (paid) leave for Christian service after 5 years. 1 In the case of Maternity Leave, the statutory entitlement applies. 2
3 Giving accounts Organise your giving at a 0% fee, for the duration of your employment with us (usually 3%). Matched giving from Stewardship Variable depending on the amount paid into an account Up to 20 per month for anyone giving regularly by Payroll Giving or Direct Debit into a giving account. Additional benefits Interest free loan for bicycle purchase Subsidised gym membership Access to IOD Health Cover Nespresso machine 1500 (can include accessories, such as helmet) Up to 40 per month Paid direct from your salary, various levels of cover options available for dentistry, optometry and other therapy services. Tea and coffee provided free of charge. Nespresso coffee available at a suggested donation of 30p per cup. 3

5 reward and recognition In addition to the package of benefits available to all our staff as standard, we actively encourage reward and recognition for performances worthy of applause, from achieving excellence within a role, to stepping up when the call comes, to being an all round good egg. The assumption is staff receive recognition in the form of praise on an on-going basis within their monthly one to ones. The table below summarises the main mechanisms for reward we use within Stewardship Annual awards Every year we celebrate the best examples of behaviours we are keen to encourage within our culture. Worthy individuals are nominated by all staff, throughout the year and the winner chosen by the SMT, or elected by staff vote in the case of the People s awards. Winners receive one of 6 rewards, chosen by spinning the Circle of Blessing (Wheel of fortune ) at the Easter All Team Meeting, or if the individual would prefer, the equivalent cash value can be added to their stewardship account as a gift to charity.
