KEY TASKS Develop and manage the work plan for the Funding and Health Outcomes areas Undertake commercial / business support project work / tasks of a complex or sensitive EXPECTED OUTCOMES Develop the work plans for the group for the year Plan for the delivery and outcomes required ensure the correct resources are available for projects and business as usual work Follow up all items on the work plan and report back to the Directors regarding their delivery status Project /tasks scoped fully Objectives agreed and met Waitemata District Health Board Page 1
KEY TASKS EXPECTED OUTCOMES nature as identified by the Directors Appropriate resource identified and deployed Implementation completed as required (on time and to specification) Sensitive matters treated appropriately Oversee the production of the Groups Identify with Directors any regular or Ad Hoc contribution to the annual meeting cycle Board papers that need authored (Board, CEPHAC, Board Sub Committee, etc..) Provide first drafts of required papers for including producing papers and writing briefs review in a timely fashion for the Directors as needed Include Directors comments / instructions and then submit in the required format in a timely fashion Solicit, write and review business papers or reports for the Directors as needed and work with other Tier three managers to ensure they are also meeting their requirements in this area Develop and maintain and Directors internal group meeting schedule (including SMT, Team Meeting, Lunch & Learn ) Oversee the work of the unit s administrators including reviewing their business processes and required outcomes Identify with Directors any regular or Ad Hoc business papers that need authored Identify any regular reports that need to be produced and submitted by the Directors (excepting MoH monthly reporting) that need a text commentary Provide first drafts of required papers for review in a timely fashion Include Directors comments / instructions and then submit in the required format in a timely fashion All regular meetings identified and documented Agenda items identified and discussed with Directors and agendas circulated in a timely fashion Good quality briefing notes provided (as appropriate) for the Directors so they are fully prepared for their meetings Administrators at both sites working effectively and following same processes Administrators meeting held regularly Administrators business processes review undertaken and proposals put forwards around this area of the business Implementation of any changes needed Provide support to the new Tier three managers as required by the Directors Work closely with the Transition Project Meet regularly with the Transition Director to Director to ensure all three work streams review progress and ensure where processes interact smoothly in terms of business support cross over that smooth delivery occurs Statutory & Treaty of Waitangi obligations Ensures the professional and political integrity of WDHB by carrying out all Waitemata District Health Board Page 2
