ROLE The Account Director is a Senior Account Service representative with responsibility for the delivery and standard of E2 Digital s service and products on accounts assigned by the Managing Director, specialising in Digital. The Account Director coordinates the day-to-day activities on behalf of E2 Digital s clients and is responsible for the supervision and timely completion of assignments. They also have a pivotal role in creating continual growth and revenue for the business in the future. Solutions focussed Provide stimulus for and create new solutions to answer client business problems or marketing objectives. Maximise sales opportunities Identify and maximise ongoing sales opportunities with existing E2 Digital clients and prospects. New business Identify opportunities and convert them to confirmed business. Marketing strategies Work with the Managing Director to translate marketing plans into sales strategies, campaigns and sales action plans. Development and client liaison Project management Act as a proactive member of the Account Service team in all aspects of development and client liaison including research, planning, creative, media and presentation of strategic planning. Develop strong client relationships and ensure that strategies are executed in accordance with agreed upon client needs. Monitor progress of all projects for assigned clients. Ensure that there is ongoing client communication to problem solve and handle their complex marketing opportunities and campaigns. Ensure that they are aware of budget spends, issues, production complexities, new opportunities and timeframes as required. Ensure that a post-project follow-up is held with clients after completion of a project. Liaison with Project Management Office (PMO) Work with the PMO Leader to produce proposals which include a debrief with appropriate internal staff. Responsible for achieving defined sales targets and KPIs for the business. Provide a weekly sales report to the Managing Director and monthly to the Board, reporting on sales and profitability. Counsel Account Managers and Executives, monitor their work and provide appropriate direction. Coach and mentor direct reports and motivate all to work to the highest level of professionalism and output. Provide support to the Managing Director as required, including liaison with regard to the overall business and its progression, particularly in regard to sales opportunities, developing technologies and potential revenue. Attend and participate at management meetings. Ensure all initiatives undertaken by the business are profitable and in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). As a Senior Executive lead by example in timeliness, commitment, quality of work, engagement and attitude. The Account Director must become totally knowledgeable about the product category in which the client(s) operate. This includes competitive activity, research, industry information and other information that allows the preparation of meaningful competitive analysis. Make recommendations based on an understanding of the long-term strategy, plans and tactics of the client. Develop workable budgets, work plans and realistic timetables. Undertake digital strategy, workshops and consultancy as required. Develop and oversee digital communications and initiatives for E2 Digital. Continue to develop E2 s Digital offering in consultation with the Managing Director. WEIGHTING APPROXIMATELY.05 OF ROLE Enter daily the accurate time against the appropriate project to a minimum of 1/4 hour increments. All time must be entered by 5pm on a Friday. Attend E2 meetings, management and other, as required and undertake any actions assigned. Save and file all soft copy documents under Zeus in the appropriate client / project folder. Effectively use and maintain assigned / initiated tasks in Copper. Quality / relationship assurance Process Training & development General duties All completed tasks must be quality checked before release and when distributed directly to clients, cc d to the appropriate Account Service individual(s). All activities must follow the appropriate E2 process to effectively enable workflow throughout the Agency. The expectation is that the Account Director understands the relevant technologies required to maintain their appropriate level of client service. Any gaps will be identified and resolved. Remain up to date with current industry trends, practices and disciplines and undertake regular updates in either competency training or changes in law as required. Other tasks as required.
