1 JOB DESCRIPTION DIVISION: Business Development DEPARTMENT: PMO JOB TITLE: Senior Data Analyst JOB GRADE: JOB CODE : REPORTS TO: Senior Manager : Supply Chain Centre JOB SEGMENT: Key Critical Scarce X X Charged with defining, analyzing and ultimately solving complex problems, analysts must be well versed in a number of subjects, chiefly mathematics and engineering. Logistics analysts generally work with planning and or statistical software or create quantitative models to simulate real-life problems, such as inventory levels, budget constraints and transportation schedules An Analyst uses analytical methods and a variety of tools to understand, predict, improve and/or control Logistics operations and processes and are responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support Logistics management. Solves problems by considering courses of action within the framework of management s goals and standards. Operates with minimal supervision and once given general assignments, prioritizes and executes tasks. Provides and communicates recommendations to upper management. 1

Communicate and present analytical findings to the relevant parties d. Implement and analysis data to create daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports 3. Utilize quantitative skills to create and analyze reports to support business execution a. Able to create reports b. Able to analyse and comment on the reports c. DESIRED QUALIFICATION: Post Graduate Degree in Operations Research, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent degree MINIMUM QUALIFICATION : Bachelor s Degree in Operations Research, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent degree RELATED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years in Management Information Systems environment Extensive experience in Business Data Analytics Experience in Qlikview an advantage Strong MS Excel skills Strong knowledge of statistical methods generally, and particularly in the areas of modeling and business analytics 3
