Managed the rollout and tracked completion via special course catalog in the company Learning Management System. All managers completed eight courses in a rolling 24 months. Created a Train-the-Manager to Coach program to support Customer Service training for all employees to shift the culture in the IT function to more customer driven. Used a blended approach of online instruction and support materials for managers to reinforce and apply concepts in the workplace. Success measures include increase in customer satisfaction scores and observed behavior change. Regional Training Manager (2001-2004) Plan and implement Leadership Development curriculum for managers and supervisors in nine Distribution Centers, aligned with business objectives. Assigned to strategic project to develop Inventory Managers in 30 US Distribution Centers. Identified competencies needed in changing role from reactive problem solver to proactive forecaster of inventory levels. Developed and provided functional training resources. Anticipated savings were $ 12.2 million over 3 years in reduced inventory while maintaining customer satisfaction ratings. Designed and delivered first line supervisory leadership development training, utilizing 360 feedback and succession planning process, resulting in improved employee relations and promotions. SAP AMERICA, Newtown Square, PA - Manager, Organization Development (Contract assignment) 2000 Designed the Leadership Development curriculum to address Gallup Q12 results. SMITHKLINE BEECHAM, Philadelphia, PA (Pharmaceutical R&D) 1990-1999 Manager, Organization Development (1996-1999) Managed the Learning Partnership, offering classroom-based training for all sectors in local area, by outsourcing to suppliers. Launched the first Human Resources Intranet site on SBNet, for course listings and registration, replacing need for glossy catalogue, saving $60,000 in printing costs and making registration more efficient. Piloted alternative learning opportunities, such as self-directed learning, video teleconference seminars and access to Internet based resources. Manager, Multimedia Education (1993-1996) Promoted and implemented SB On-line University in United States, designed to bring electronic education to the individual workstation via the computing network. Implemented SBOU within a large business sector, covering 30 sites and 11,000 employees accessing three sector specific courses and commercially available courses. Project managed six SB specific courses in conjunction with subject matter experts and external suppliers. Managed projects and relationships. Courses used internally and implemented via LAN. Collaborated with IT to integrate an internally developed Learning Management System for SBOU specific and commercially available courses. Manager, Human Resources Development (1990-1993) Supported client departments to meet Human Resources challenges by collaboration with HR Business Partner. Introduce concepts and skills that allow people to streamline their work processes to meet internal customer expectations and provide skill building development education that is business objective driven. Developed and implemented Customer Focused Continuous Improvement process education and teams including collateral training materials, e.g. group dynamic skill building, conceptual presentations. Certified 13 facilitators to support over 40 teams through consulting and education in continuous improvement methods and tools.
