INTRODUCTION Centro de Tenis Altur & Alvariño The Tennis Academy Altur-Alvariño was formed in October 1998 by Pancho Alvariño and Jose Altur. It is a Tennis Academy created to develop professional tennis players, with a family spirit. At any one time it will have a maximum of 50 players. The majority of players and coaches are European and the languages spoken at the Academy include English, Spanish and Russian. The Centre of Tennis Altur-Alvariño is situated in the Club Deportivo Saladar, which is located in the town of Silla, in the Natural Park of La Albufera, a very nice place which is 15 km from the centre of Valencia. The average temperature here is approximately 17 degrees, which allows for outdoor training the year round. Valencia is the third major city in Spain with a population of approximately 1.000.000 people and is about 3 hours driving from both, Barcelona and Madrid.

This schedule may be brought forward depending the month of the year.
