2015 Conference App Info & Download Directions America s SBDC Conference App, powered by FollowMe and created by Core-apps LLC, is a native application for ipad, smartphones (iphone and Android). It is also has a web-based app for Blackberry and Windows Phones or for all other web browser-enabled phones and tablets. http://app2.core-apps.com/asbdc15ac America s SBDC Conference App provides you an easy-to-use interactive capability to enhance your event experience: The Dashboard keeps you organized with up-to-the-minute Exhibitor, Speaker, and Event/Workshop information My Schedule organizes your schedule with one click Alerts allow you to receive important real-time communications from Association The Built-in Twitter feed (#2015SBDC) and Facebook Feed offers you the opportunity follow and join in on the show chatter Rate the workshops you attend and comment on them Interactively locate Exhibitors you want to visit on the Floor Plan Map Connect with your colleagues using the Friends feature Share your event photos and experiences with the Photo Gallery Watch America s SBDC videos Important Buttons: The Gear (located in upper left) takes you to settings where you can enter your profile. You can also invite friends to the app and email all your notes. The refresh button (circular arrows) downloads the latest data updates from the server. 1. Downloading the America s SBDC Annual Conference Mobile App is easy. For iphone (plus ipad & ipod Touch) and Android phones: visit your App Store or Google Play on your device and search for Americas SBDC Annual Conference or you can use this link: https://m.core-apps.com/asbdc15ac 2. Once downloaded, Open the App and select the conference you want to have on your device. (you have the option of 2014 conference and 2015 Conference):
3. Select the Upcoming Shows America s SBDC and a download button will appear. Press the button and the Show will download. 4. Once the show is downloaded, it will open up and a tutorial will start Providing you with information on how to use the Device. You will need to tap on the Next button to go through the tutorial. Follow the prompts to get a basic understanding of the App.
5. The Message Center is where you can view Messages from your friends to access it swipe your screen from the left to access it anywhere in the App. You can also access your profile from here. 6. To create your profile, select My Profile.
7. The only required information is your First and Last Name: you can fill out what you are comfortable in sharing 8. If you want your information to be visible to others you must press the Publish My Profile button (at the bottom of the page).
9. To access the exhibitor menu, you can select the Icon on the Dashboard or from the quick access bar located at the top screen: 10. You can add the exhibitors to your Bookmarks by tapping the star Icon next to an exhibitor. To remove the bookmark, tap the star icon a second time. You can also filter the exhibitors by the stars.
11. To access the Workshop/Events menu, you can select the Icon on the Dashboard or from the quick access bar located at the top screen:
12. You can add the workshop\event to your Calendar by tapping the star Icon next to a workshop. To remove the workshop from the calendar, tap the star icon a second time.
13. You can search for events by selecting the magnifying glass icon. You can search by title, program number, program name and speaker name. 14. To access the Speaker menu, you can select the Icon on the Dashboard or from the quick access bar located at the top screen:
15. You have the option to have the Conference App on sync on more than one device. You will need to select the Gear Icon (which will bring up the settings Menu). This feature allows you to sync your data, including Schedule and Exhibitor Bookmarks between multiple devices that are running the App. At this time it does not support syncing of the notes.
16. You will need to determine which device you want as the first device.
