The box moitors the chargig process / status ad breaks the circuit i the evet of a error to protect the user. A full charge at a Germa domestic coectio (20 A, 230 V AC up to 4.6 kw) would, depedig o the size of the electric vehicle s batteries, take six to eight hours ad ca therefore easily be doe overight. Mode 3: Chargig with alteratig curret at a public chargig statio. Due to the higher currets, voltages ad 3-phase operatio, the chargig process ca i this case be accelerated (max. 63 A / 400 V AC up to 43.5 kw). Here the chargig time takes approx miutes. Mode 4: Chargig with direct curret at a public chargig statio: i the ear future there will be a fast charge optio with direct curret available ivolvig up to 200 kw. It is to shorte the chargig process to betwee 15 ad 30 miutes. Plugs, socket outlets as well as vehicle ilets ad vehicle coectors are likewise ormatively stipulated i the IEC/DIN EN stadard for the chargig of electric vehicles. There is o (IEC) stadard for the cable itself defied/available yet. The leadig Germa cable maufacturers have, together with the DKE (Germa Electrotechical Commissio), devised a stadard that is set i a atioal operator regulatio.
