You will choose between specialist subjects; Sociology or Human Physiology and Health; Psychology or Humanities. Requirements: You will need to complete our Plan Your Future course or the Diagnostic and Advice session Normally Grade C or equivalent in GCSE English, and Grade D or equivalent in GCSE Maths is required If you wish to study the Human Physiology unit you will normally require a GCSE Grade D or equivalent in Science. An interview will take place on the Plan Your Future course or the Diagnostic and Advice session Leads to: This course paves the way for you to enter into Higher Education and go on to study at Degree Level. Requirements: You will be invited to an informal interview where you will talk about your current qualifications and life experiences. You will be asked to complete a written task and take part in an exercise to find out your current level of communication and maths skills. Leads to: The full level 2 qualification will give you both theoretical and practical experience that will prepare you to work in a variety of care settings, such as nursing homes and day care centres.
