1 WELCOME TO SPRING 2015 SEMESTER!! On behalf of the entire EOPS staff, we hope your semester is off to a great start! If you have not yet made a contact with your EOPS counselor, please schedule one today! For those that have already made your first contact, March would be an excellent time to schedule your second! Also, if you have not yet applied for the FAFSA, we encourage you to do so by March 2nd! If you need assistance with completing the application, please schedule an appointment with a financial aid technician. We look forward to assisting you in achieving your educational goals. Please do not hesitate to contact our staff with academic concerns, questions, or assistance. EOPS Recertification s for the academic year will begin March 9th. What is recertification? Every academic year (July 1-June 30) EOPS students must have their eligibility determined to continue to receive EOPS services. This includes reviewing each student s transcript and educational plan. Students must meet with their EOPS counselor to be recertified. The recertification process will end May 22. Please call Amanda Frost to schedule an appointment to meet with your counselor. Recertification MUST be completed in order for students to continue receiving EOPS services for the Fall 2015 Semester!
