Enter independently, using either the ladder, steps r side, travel at least 5 yards, submerge t muth and blw bubbles fr at least 3 secnds then safely exit the water. (Children can walk, mve alng the gutter r swim. ) 2. While in shallw water, glide n frnt at least 2 bdy lengths, then rll t back and flat n back fr 3 secnds then recver t a vertical psitin. Swim 500 yards cntinuusly using any 3 strkes f yur chice, swimming at least 50 yards f each strke. 2. Perfrm the Cper 12-minute swim test and cmpare results with the preassessment results. (Swim fr 12 minutes t cver the greatest distance pssible, using whatever strke is preferred. Rest as necessary, but g as far as pssible.)
