Coordinated site visits to pilot institutions around the country to understand the collegiate environment by interviewing students, administrators, and faculty. Collaborated with team members to conceptualize, design, and author grant proposals. Organized the inaugural Diversity Research Institute which is now offered annually through the Higher Education Research Institute. Research Analyst, Becoming Scientists: Degree Completion and Advanced Study in STEM Disciplines, Higher Education Research Institute, UCLA, Collaborate on a national multi-campus research study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) focused on underrepresented students seeking research training and careers in the biomedical and behavioral sciences.
