1 FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Our web-based Fleet Management Sftware is a functinal system which supprts cmpanies in remving r minimizes the risks assciated with vehicle investment, imprving efficiency, prductivity and reducing the verall transprtatin and vehicle & drivers management csts. Being a web based system the system can be accessed thrugh cmputers, tablets and smart phne; web brwser is all yu need. With the usage f wireless technlgy rganisatins can be able t manage vehicles, diagnse and reprt engine prblems frm infrmatin cntained in their timely, peridic updates. Organisatins can mnitr driver behavir, speed and hurs, btain recrds n fuel cnsumptin. Fleet Management System will prvide users the ability t track wrk histry and ther pertinent infrmatin fr cmpany vehicles. 2 The Fleet Management System will be develped using Micrsft.NET Framewrk which will allw the end users t access the applicatin in a multi-lcatin scenari ensuring the flw f infrmatin acrss the rganizatin. Fleet Management Featured Mdules Vehicle Infrmatin System captures all the imprtant vehicle details such as Registratin Number, Mdel, Manufacturer, standard Mileage given by Manufacturer, Date f purchase, etc. The system allws vehicle transfers within the rganizatin. Driver Management The system manages the driver Infrmatin and the driver s peratinal and perfrmances data against the vehicle(s) has been assigned t. The system will shw the drivers perfrmances against the turnarund time, mileage, fuel cnsumptin, vehicle maintenance& repairs, tire management, etc. Fuel Management System facilitates the fuel ratis feature as per the Vehicle Manufacturer and will calculate fuel cnsumptin per distance cvered in cnsideratin f the rad cnditin (gd rad and bad rad). This featured level f insight gives greater cntrl and enables decisin makers t start making fuel savings and act fast t reduce and cntrl the amunt spent n fuel. Lg bk Entities System prvides the lgbk fr entering the Vehicle lgs and autmatically calculates balance fuel suppsed t be in the vehicle s fuel tank; the system will determine whether the fuel adding is necessary n the request f a driver. The system then will prvide varius reprts in relatin t the psitining f the vehicle at any given time, nt nly dts n a map, the system will prvide detailed, realtime data t cmpare rutes, speed, mileage and fuel cnsumptin acrss yur fleet. Insurance & Other Expiry System prvides alerts prir t the expiry f Insurance plicy(ies), Mtr Vehicle License(s) and ther Gvernment related stickers. System ffers the flexibility f defining the alert perids and the users/emplyees t be alerted Maintenance Scheduling Vehicle maintenance is very critical part in vehicle management which shuld nt be verlked; with this cnsideratin the Fleet Management sftware gives the facility fr defining the maintenance schedules f all types f services such as Filters and Oils fr Servicing f the Vehicle n the basis f Kilmeters. Further t that the system is having the Maintenance Peridical Tracking feature which prvides alerts when the vehicle needs maintenance alng with the maintenance histry fr the serviced vehicles. Mileage Tracking System will give ad-hc reprts n the mileage perfrmance f the vehicle. The reprts filtering allws generatin f daily, weekly, mnthly, annual reprts r any perid f time required by the user. Spare Parts Management The feature tracks the spare part usages, and allws the issuing f a new spare part in vehicle (replacement). The system gives the histrical data n the spare parts usage and the kilmeters cvered fr such spare part in a certain vehicle.

4 Tire Management At any pint f time the System is able t give the infrmatin n the tires running n each psitin (alignment) f the vehicle and kilmeters cvered by each Tire. System prvides analytical data which supprts the decisin making n basis f Tire Brand/Manufactures/ types and material which are cst effective and lng run. Tls Tracking System tracks the tls carried by each vehicle n dispatching frm the ffice and n arrival t the ffice. The system further prvides the histrical data n tls tracking. Wrk Order and Labr Tracking Management Wrk Orders can be created easily in the system with minimal amunt f keystrkes, ffering a quick and easy methd t get the repair histry entered fr a piece f equipment. The data entered is updated immediately giving up-t-the-minute tracking f the Inventry, Equipment, Technician prductivity, etc. Applicatin Architecture The Fleet Management System has been develped using the 3 Tier Architecture cnsisting f three layers (Presentatin layer, business layer and data layer). The end user gets the applicatin screens in a brwser and as the user submits the transactins the data ges t the database thrugh the business prcess (middle layer), this reduces the applicatin maintenance time as everything cmes frm the server, if any changes are t be made it is sufficient t make them at server level. Each web frm cntains input cntrls, buttns, user cntrls, (reusable ASP.NET pages) and cde behind file, which implements the validatin functinality, initiates business lgic bjects. Business lgic assembly and encapsulates business prcess f each mdule f the Fleet Management System. The cmpnent cmprises f different classes t deal with assciated screen functinality database cnnectivity functinality, which is cmmn t all the mdules f the applicatin. Database The transactins dne using the Fleet Management System are stred in a Database Server (MS-SQL Server). System will prvide an interface fr Database administratrs t maintain the database server remtely frm time t time.
