During this intensive curse, students will learn the cre features and design principles arund hw t build, implement, and manage cllabrative business applicatins and slutins within a cnnected wrkplace. The curse is based n the CrasWrks v11.x platfrm and hw it can be leveraged t better supprt a spectrum f rganizatinal needs. Students explre real-wrld scenaris and learn tips and tricks t ptimize SharePint/CrasWrks implementatins. They will als learn hw t extend and enhance the Micrsft SharePint platfrm t enable better cllabrative slutins that are mre rbust, better cnnected, mre quickly deplyed, and mre sundly architected. By the end f this curse, students will be able t: Build basic cllabrative applicatins that deliver SharePint data, and external data, the way users want t see it, where they want t see it, and enable them t act upn it. While learning the varius infrmatin displays, aggregatin ptins, cnnectins, and actins, students will experience hw t : Select and cnfigure CrasWrks Basic and Advanced web parts fr rapid slutin develpment withut cding (e.g., the Tree, Spreadsheet, Calendar, and Chart style displays), and alter thse cnfiguratins t meet a vast array f rganizatinal needs. Alter the data display with simple pint, click, and type settings within the Basic Cmpnents administratin interface. Pinpint infrmatin by targeting specific data frm multiple sites and lists and applying filtering t that aggregate data. Drive business prcesses and enable an active wrkplace using CrasWrks actins Create custm rll-up web parts thrugh the brwser using the Basic Cmpnent Display Wizard. Implement an External Data Prvider (EDP) using the Advanced Cmpnents. Implement an EDP with Web Services using the Advanced Cmpnents. Implement a Wrkplace Lkup using the Advanced Cmpnents. Implement a Basic Grid Display cnnected t external data. Implement the Advanced Grid Display Adapter as part f the Advanced Cmpnents. This training curse is designed fr IT and business department staff wh have purchased the CrasWrks v11.x platfrm and want t learn hw t cnfigure, build, custmize, and/r supprt cllabrative business applicatins and wrkplaces using the platfrm. The training is divided int tw cre sectins. The first six instructr-led sessins fcus n the Basic Cmpnents (previusly assciated with the CrasWrks Wrkplace Suite prduct), which have wizarddriven cnfiguratins that dn t require advanced technical skills. The Advanced Cmpnents are trained thrugh a self-paced frmat via vides and hands-n lessns, and require mre advanced technical skills (i.e., wrking with XML). A live questin and answer sessin is cnducted t supprt the Advanced Cmpnent lessns. Prerequisite As a prerequisite fr the training, all participants shuld have a wrking knwledge f Micrsft SharePint (either WSS r MOSS). Fr the advanced cmpnents, a basic understanding f XML is beneficial but nt required. Students are given a tw-week perid after the cmpletin f the Basic Cmpnent sessins t wrk thrugh six Advanced Cmpnent mdules. On the Friday fllwing the tw-week self study, a 90-minute questin and answer sessin is held via LiveMeeting t address questins related t the lessns r the Advanced Cmpnents in general.
