5 General Control stations and enclosures Plastic control stations XAL D and XAL K For Harmony Ø control and signalling units XB Complete stations Stations for customer assembly Accessories XAL D and XAL K control stations are available in two forms: b Complete. b For customer assembly These control stations use the plastic bezel pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights of the Harmony XB range, which offers a wide choice of circular and square types of head. Pre-assembled These are complete, ready to install, stations Þ tted with to buttons to cater for the most commonly encountered functions: b Start or Stop, with: v ß ush spring return pushbutton, v red, spring return, mushroom head pushbutton. b Emergency stop or Emergency switching off, with: v red, latching, mushroom head pushbutton (standard or trigger action), either push-pull or turn to release, with or without key. b v v v b v b v v Start-Stop, with: ß ush spring return pushbuttons, ß ush spring return pushbutton + projecting spring return pushbutton, -position selector switch + pilot light with integral red LED, if required. Two functions, with: ß ush spring return pushbuttons. Three functions, with: ß ush spring return pushbuttons, ß ush spring return pushbuttons + projecting spring return pushbutton, ß ush spring return pushbuttons + red, latching, mushroom head v pushbutton. These pushbuttons, switches and pilot lights comprise plastic heads from the Harmony XB range and electrical blocks (contact or light) that are mounted in the back of the enclosure. For customer assembly These stations are for assembly by the user and offer a choice of assembly methods: b Box method Identical to the pre-assembled versions. The electrical blocks are mounted on a metal mounting plate in the back of the enclosure. b Station method The electrical blocks are mounted directly beneath the heads using a body/þ xing collar 0. It is possible to assemble stations with to heads, each of which can be combined with electrical blocks or (contact or light). The XAL range offers a wide choice of head types for: b Spring return pushbuttons or, either marked or unmarked. b Spring return mushroom head pushbuttons. b Latching mushroom head pushbuttons. b Selector switches with standard or long handle and key switches. b Toggle switches. b Pilot lights. b Illuminated spring return pushbuttons. b Illuminated selector switches with standard handle. For heads Markings can be customised by using legend holders which can either be Þ tted with pre-marked legends or legends engraved by the user.
