Depending n staffing levels, several rles may be cmbined within a single psitin, r several psitins may fill the same rle. The term Immunizatin Infrmatin System r IIS may be replaced with Registry within psitin titles in sme jurisdictins. Summary IIS Testing Analyst is a rle typically fund in a mid-level analyst series. It ften requires specialized knwledge, hwever, and a backgrund in Infrmatin Technlgy is very helpful. Scpe The persn fulfilling this rle is respnsible fr drafting test cases and test plans, cnducting and dcumenting functinal user acceptance testing and regressin testing prir t and/r fllwing a release, tracking bugs and their reslutin, and running rutine test scripts t ensure the perfrmance and up-time f the IIS. Budget Authrity Nne Psitin Titles The fllwing example jb titles were gathered frm existing psitins at state and lcal health agencies: Tester User Acceptance Tester System Perfrmance Mnitr Analyst Relatinship The persn in this psitin typically reprts t the IIS Manager. Internally, this psitin wrks very clsely with the rest f the IIS team, and with the vendr/implementer/it supprt that is supprting/maintaining the IIS. Decisin Making Authrity The persn in this rle exercises cnsiderable independent judgment in carrying ut respnsibilities within a highly cllabrative envirnment.
