1 PCYC MARRICKVILLE Venue hire information About The Debbie & Abbey Borgia Community Recreation Centre (managed by PCYC Marrickville), opened by Marrickville Council in October 2003, is a stateof-the-art complex comprising three multi-purpose indoor sports courts, eight community meeting and activity rooms and the Steel Park Café. The site, surrounded by scenic Cooks River parkland, is a popular area for cycling, walking, picnicking and other leisure activities. This facility was designed to complement this setting in our local community. The Centre provides sport, recreation, leisure and other activities for all sections of the community: toddlers, teenagers, parents, senior citizens, sporting teams, school groups and community organisations. 3 OUR FACILTIES PCYC Marrickville has a range of facilities available to hire. Below is information regarding our facilities. ALL 3 COURTS Three court multipurpose timber sports stadium can be used to play the following sports; badminton (4 individual courts available), basketball, netball, indoor soccer, floorball and volleyball. Each court has a minimum of 2 meters run off area additional to the court measurements. Each sport is specifically marked by color coded lining. A full international futsal court is also available by hiring all three Capacity: 200 per court Dimensions: 15m x 30m (per court) - Power outlets, - Three phase power, - Basketball and futsal electronic score boards and basketball shot clocks with control equipment available for each court. - Court curtain divider between courts 2 and 3. - Power operated winch driven basketball rings. 4 HALL 1 Hall 1 is ideal for large meetings, workshops, dancing, training, exercise and table tennis. 7 MEETING ROOM 1 Meeting Room 1 is the largest meeting room in the centre. It is ideal for meetings, training, conferences and AGM's. 9 TABLE TENNIS Table tennis is available to book upon calling the centre. BADMINTON / VOLLEYBALL Badminton is available to hire upon calling the centre. Up to four badminton nets are available for use. Badminton can only be played on court 3. Volleyball can also be played on all 3 courts.
