1 FACT SHEET - CPC CERTIFICATE IV IN BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION (BUILDING) This program covers building theory and practices related to low buildings. This program will provide you with the knowledge and managerial skills to meet the technical qualifications for the Building Services Authority (BSA) Builder Low Rise licence. Check with the BSA on what the Builder Low Rise licence allows you to build. This program does not have any specific entry requirements. However, completion of Year 12 English and Mathematics is recommended. The program meets the technical qualifications requirement of the BSA Builder - Low Rise licence. Enrolments are taken on an ongoing basis. Students can enrol at any time 24/7 online, over the phone or in person during business hours. Enrolment is for a period of 12 months. To Achieve the Qualification CPCBC40110 CERTIFICATE IV IN BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION (BUILDING) requires the completion of ALL 13 Core & 3 Elective Units of Competency (16 in Total) listed in COLUMN 1. To successfully construct low- buildings requires a thorough knowledge of the purpose and content of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) coupled with the ability to interpret other codes and standards related to a specific building.
