DSL) is usd for tlphoning instad of th normal path of an analog or ISDN cabl connction. Th digital voic data is snt as IP packts from on to th othr partnr. This works lik th transfr of a hompag from th Intrnt. Thr ar alrady numrous providrs who do not only allow to mak outgoing calls but also offr an individual numbr for ach customr. With this numbr you can also into th fixd ntwork and stay rachabl from thr. Until rcntly a PC with corrsponding softwar or a spcial was ncssary for th Intrnt tlphony. In th mantim many providrs offr a so-calld ATA 4. This dvic allows th connction of a convntional analog to a DSL modm or routr. Which Advantag dos th Aurswald Box offr to th Intrnt Tlphony? As an ATA only allows th connction of on (or somtims two) analog (s), you can only with on singl via th Intrnt. Call transfr and tlphoning with othr s in th hous is not possibl at all. With th Aurswald Box an ATA can b connctd to a fr subscribr port of th PBX systm.
