CCRT under the Ministry f Culture invites n-line applicatins frm Indian natinals fr the Award f Schlarships t Yung Artistes in Different Cultural Fields fr the year This Scheme seeks t give assistance t yung artistes f utstanding prmise fr advanced training within India in the field f Indian Classical Music, Indian Classical Dance, Theatre, Mime, Visual art, Flk, Traditinal and Indigenus Arts and Light Classical Music etc. The duratin f schlarship will be tw years. The nature f training will be determined in each case after taking int cnsideratin the previus training and backgrund f the schlar. Nrmally, it will be in the nature f advance training under a Guru/ Master r in a recgnized institutin. Cnsequent upn his/her selectin, the Schlar will be required t underg a rigrus training in the designated field. Such training will include minimum f three hurs a day fr practice alne apart frm the time spent fr acquiring knwledge f the thery f the subject/field cncerned and als an appreciatin f the related disciplines Schlarships fr the year will be awarded. Each selected schlar will be Rs. 5000/- per mnth fr a perid f tw years t cver his/ her living expenses n traveling, bks, art material r ther equipment and tuitin r training charges, if any. 3. Age will be reckned as n 01 st April 2015, the age f the applicant shuld nt be less than 18 years and mre than 25 years as n Age relaxatin is nt permissible th April, 2016 is the last date fr the receipt f applicatins nline. 5. CANDIDATE WHO HAS ALREADY AVAILED SCHOLARSHIP IN ANY FIELD UNDER THIS SCHEME CAN NOT APPLY AGAIN. 6. Candidates shuld have an adequate general educatin t pursue their training effectively. Candidates must give evidence f their desire t make the pursuit f their training effectively. As the schlarships are meant fr advanced training and nt fr beginners, candidates must have already acquired a degree f prficiency in the chsen field. The candidate shuld have undergne a minimum f 05 years training with their Guru/Institutes. The Certificate t this effect duly signed by the present Guru / Institute and frmer Guru/ Institute (if any) shuld be submitted alng with the applicatin. After selectin under this Scheme, n request fr change f Guru/Institute shall be entertained withut prir permissin f Ministry f Culture.

2 7. Applicatin Prcedure. Applicatins will be accepted nline nly. Please read the instructins carefully befre filling up the nline frm. Incmplete applicatins in any respect will be rejected summarily and n further crrespndence will be dne/ entertained. The candidate must apply nly in ne subject/ field in which he/she is cnfident because nly ne schlarship culd be availed under the Scheme. All applicatins f thse, wh apply in mre than ne subject/field wuld be rejected straight away. Each successful applicatin will be alltted a unique enrllment number by the system. Candidate may refer t the number in their future crrespndence with the CCRT r Ministry f Culture, Gvt. f India. Applicant can access filled/submitted applicatin after lgin again n CSMS prtal i.e Select "Applicatin Status" n Dashbard. Select Scheme and Financial year then Click n search. Applicatin details will be displayed. Click n "Print Applicatin" t print r dwnlad submitted applicatin. It may be nted that applicants will nt get any further pprtunity t edit the details after clsing date f nline applicatin. The list f shrtlisted candidates fr the interview will be psted n CCRT s website All the shrtlisted candidates will be infrmed fr the date, time and venue f the interview/perfrmance and the dcumentary requirements n the address prvided by them in their applicatin(s). The candidate(s) are required t remember their ID and respective passwrd. (Candidate must prvide crrect and accessible address s that he/she may be infrmed f the interview dates). Fllwing dcuments are required t be prduced in riginal at the time f interview: A cpy f the nline applicatin frm, with candidate s pht and signature at the specified space. One self-attested cpy f Educatin Qualificatins (Degrees, Diplmas etc.), experiences etc. In the case f candidates applying fr schlarship in the field f Painting, Sculpture and Applied Arts, they are required t cme with self-attested cpies f 06 (six) phtgraphs f the Original wrks. The minimum qualificatin fr Visual Arts is Bachelr f Fine Arts (BFA) r equivalent. An attested cpy f the degree f BFA r equivalent is t submitted. In Sculpture and all ther fields (Music, Dance, Theatre and Flk and Indigenus Art etc) n minimum educatinal qualificatin is prescribed. Xerx self attested cpy f Date f Birth (DOB) certificate f the candidate/ applicant r self-attested cpy f the Matriculatin (Schl leaving certificate) r equivalent certificate r ther admissible evidence f age. (Other than Hrscpe). Certificate frm the present Guru / Institute in the frmat given at Part II. As the schlarships are awarded fr advanced training, the candidates shuld have undergne a minimum f 5 years training with their Gurus/Institutes. The certificates t this effect duly signed by the present Guru/ Institute and frmer Guru/ Institute (if any) shuld be submitted alng with the applicatin.

3 Any crrectin/cutting/verwriting in the Certificate f Guru/Institute will make the applicant ineligible fr Schlarship. Bank accunt details f the applicant, duly attested by the Branch Manager f the Bank, in the frmat given at Part III [ Bank Authrizatin Letter]. It is mandatry t submit all dcuments mentined abve at the time f interview. If the candidate fails t submit any f these dcuments, he/she will be ineligible fr the interview r perfrmance test. If the infrmatin furnished by the applicant is fund t be frged/false it will make him/her ineligible fr reimbursement f train fare and he/she wuld be barred frm making any future applicatins fr Schlarship, Fellwship r fr any grant frm the Ministry f Culture. 8. Selectin Prcedure & Respnsibilities f the Selected Schlars. An Expert-Cmmittee cmprising experts in different fields duly cnstituted by the Ministry f Culture, Gvernment f India, wuld interview all the shrtlisted applicants n the basis f their applicatins and prpsed prgramme f training t select the mst meritrius amng them. Candidates shrtlisted fr the interview will be asked t submit a hard cpy f their applicatin with all the required dcuments. The names f the candidates finally selected fr the award f Schlarships under this Scheme will be psted n this websites f CCRT & the Ministry f Culture, after the selectin prcess is cmpleted and the selectin is apprved by the cmpetent authrity. If a candidate wh is awarded Schlarship is fund ineligible fr it at any later stage, the Schlarship s awarded t him/her will be cancelled & mney will als be recuped. The awardees will submit six-mnthly prgress reprts. In cases where such reprts are nt received n time, further releases f the Schlarship amunt will be withheld. In the event f any legal dispute/prceedings cncerning this scheme takes place, the matter will be dealt within the jurisdictin f Delhi High Curt nly. All awards sanctined under the Scheme shall be disbursed at present by the Ministry f Culture, Gvt. f India directly t the Awardee(s). Any change in the address may be given t the CCRT and Ministry f Culture in writing. While ding s subject/field f training, File N. (if any) shuld invariably be quted.
