1 Pharmacy Tech Application for Admission Steps The pharmacy tech program at Texas State Technical College (TSTC) encompasses a two prong approach to admission with the sole purpose of helping current students be successful in their chosen field and to receive gainful and beneficial employment. The first semester class size is limited to 25 students which means that applicants who meet the minimum requirements are not necessarily assured admission. COLLEGE REQUIREMENTS 1. Complete a TSTC application and receive an acceptance letter. 2. Submit an official high school transcript or GED and transcripts from other colleges attended. 3. Meet with a Success Coach 4. Take the TSI test or provide college readiness scores for exemption from testing. 5. Submit proof of immunizations ADDITIONAL PROGRAM ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS 1. Complete an application for Pharmacy Tech Program (Attached) 2. Complete the essay (Attached) 3. The department uses a rubric for admission. This helps to assure student success in the program. Perfect score is 120. Student needs an 75 to be accepted. (Attached)
