1 Associate Degree in Nursing Program-- Application for Admission SPRING 2017 NEW REGISTRATION PROCESS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS AND REAPPLICANTS DEADLINE IS AUGUST 5, 2016 BY 2:00PM NO EXCEPTIONS 1. You must apply or reapply before registering for the exam. 2. You can apply or reapply any time prior to the deadline. Nursing department hours are: Monday-Thursday 8am- 5pm; Friday 8am-2:00pm 3. Applications must be submitted IN PERSON OR BY ANOTHER PERSON ON THEIR BEHALF to room Reactivation requests can be submitted either in person or by ing Chelsea Tibus at 5. Submission of an initial application or reactivation request must be submitted by FRIDAY, AUGUST 5, BY 2:00PM 6. If you register without submitting an application or reapplying YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TEST. PRE-ENTRANCE EXAM INSTRUCTIONS Students will register ONLINE ONLY for the entrance exam for nursing. Registration opens August 1, 2016 at 12:00am and ends August 6, 2016 at 11:59pm. YOU MUST APPLY OR REAPPLY PRIOR TO REGISTERING. Failure to follow the directions as provided will prevent you from taking the exam. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to the deadline. Payment for the exam is a $16 non-refundable fee and will also be paid online. INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTERING Please follow instructions below. If needed, the Student Guide to NLN at: is also available for further reference. DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING IS AUGUST 6, 2016 BY 11:59 PM NO EXCEPTIONS How to Create and Account: 1. If the website does not display all content please close out and try a different browser. 2. Every student must create a new account UNLESS you tested in May If you tested in May 2016 you can use your existing account. To create a new NLN account or to log on, go to 3. Click on the blue link Create new account 4. You will be prompted to create a new username and password, as well as enter your name, , phone, and school membership (make sure to select Goodwin College),etc. For time zone you will select America-New York. 5. Once you have entered all the required fields, click create new account located on the bottom of the screen. 6. After you select create new account NLN will you a time sensitive link to the you provided. You must confirm your account before it can be used. If the link expires you can return to the website and select request new password. If you need further assistance you may call the NLN customer service (available Monday-Friday; CST at: ) Registering for an Exam Session: (You must apply or reapply prior to registering for the exam) 1. After creating an account, you must register for an exam session by Saturday, August 6, by 11:59pm. NLN will automatically close the sessions after the deadline and you will not be allowed to register. 2. To register, log in to your NLN account and click on the exam sessions tab. Type in Goodwin College in the school name box or select from the drop down menu. If exam dates do not appear, try typing in just Goodwin. 3. Click on the exam session you are registering for. Exam sessions have limited space and are first come, first serve. 4. Once you click on the correct session and pay, ($16) you can select the register button. Then select save registration. 5. PROOF OF REGISTRATION WILL BE ED TO YOU. PLEASE PRINT AND BRING TO THE EXAM Exam Day: 1. On the day of your exam, please report to room 310 at least 30 minutes prior to your test time. 2. Bring a photo ID to check in and your proof of registration OR YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TEST. 3. Please remember your username and password so you may access the exam. 4. It is the responsibility of the student to remember their exam date and time.
