3 STUDENT LIFE GRADUATE STUDENT ACTIVITIES The Graduate School fosters a sense of community through student workshops, social gatherings, and department special events. Students interested in leadership in the graduate school become members of the Graduate Student Advisory Council or Ambassador Program. Many graduate programs also have student organizations that plan events, conferences, community service, and socials. 4 GRADUATE LIVING 330 Cooper Street is a 12-story graduate housing building that opened in fall The modern apartment-style building features amenities designed for the graduate student 102 fully furnished apartments (1 bedroom/1 bath, 3 bedroom/2 bath, and 4 bedroom/2 bath options available) Apartments are outfitted with wood cabinets and stainless steel appliances including dishwashers. The Graduate School at RUTGERS CAMDEN LOCATION Positioned within the greater metropolitan area of Philadelphia, Rutgers Camden draws students from around the world, as well as from across New Jersey and the Delaware Valley. We are located in the heart of the Camden Waterfront neighborhood, just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, and easily accessible by regional public transportation. The campus is just two hours from New York City and less than three hours from Washington, D.C.
