2 I ve met and worked alongside judges in the Federal District Court during my summer externship, sat in on oral arguments at the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and am a sitting member on the Military Affairs and Justice Committee of the New York City Bar Association. The NYLS J.D. programs are distinguished by their innovative and successful integration of the study of legal theory and practice. NYLS offers three course sequences: The full-time day program The part-time Evening Division The two-year J.D. Honors Program In addition to traditional required courses and more than 250 upperlevel electives, our distinctive skills-based curriculum offers students unique opportunities to develop substantive expertise beyond a broad understanding of the law through our Academic Centers, and gain handson experience through clinics, externships, and project-based learning courses. Because of our location in the heart of Lower Manhattan, students can get to many of their clinics and externships in the time it takes to get from one class to another.

7 a Supportive community: NYLS housing at the historic St. george. The NYLS Residence Hall is conveniently located at 100 Henry Street in the nearby neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, one stop from Lower Manhattan and a 15-minute commute to the Law School. Or you can take a short walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. The Residence Hall, also known as The St. George, is a historic building that has been fully renovated and restored, and is operated by Educational Housing Services, a national leader in academic housing. The Residence Hall provides a comfortable, safe, and secure living environment. It s also conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants. The St. George is close to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and Brooklyn Bridge Park, both of which offer stunning views of Lower Manhattan and the City skyline

Electricity, cable, Internet, and local telephone calls are included in the rent.
