2 Thank you The 2nd M2M Middle East Forum and Etisalat M2M Awards were held from May 2014 at the Address Dubai Marina, Dubai, UAE Over 2 days, 200 senior IT, ICT and digital senior executives from telecoms, healthcare, retail, utilities, governments, automotive, transport and logistics had the opportunity to learn about the latest trends, M2M technologies and how these solutions could benefit their organisations. Our distinguished speaker faculty consisted of 24 local, regional and international experts who shared their experience in implementing M2M solutions through real-life case studies and interactive panel sessions. During the event, delegates also had the opportunity to participate in real live product demonstrations to gain a better understanding of how the latest M2M technologies could enhance operational efficiency and create new revenue streams. Also new to the Forum was the first Etisalat M2M Awards which was held on the second day of the Forum. This is the only awards ceremony of its kind in the Middle East, through 5 categories, where companies were recognised for their key achievements in the M2M sector. 5 Technology Showcase: The 2nd M2M Middle East Forum featured 8 exhibitors showcased a range of products and solutions and how they can be deployed in various operational processes and tasks in virtually every industry including healthcare, telematics, fleet management, asset management, security and surveillance, connected home, connected car and much more. This Forum allowed the M2M community to come together and test and try the latest technology available in the market to learn how devices, smart applications and solutions generate revenue and solving challenges of big data and mobility. On May 12, five companies received an award for their achievements in the M2M arena during the closing ceremony of the conference. 6 Marketing and PR Campaign: A dedicated marketing and promotion campaign was executed to support, promote and bring high quality delegates to the 2nd M2M Middle East Forum. The campaign included: Print M2M Middle East Forum has partnered with leading M2M, Telecom and Business Publications from across the region and globally who published advertisements in the lead up to the forum. A prime medium to communicate and reach the forum s target audience was . Dedicated shots were sent to a specifically built database of local, regional and international ICT, IT and digital professionals across different industry sectors. Media publications and M2M associations also ed details about the M2M Forum to their databases meaning a wider reach to prospects. Social Media and Online Advertising M2M web banners with links to the forum were placed on our partners websites to drive traffic to the forum s homepage. The forum conducted a social media campaign, which predominantly focused on twitter where the team posted updates on the latest on the M2M forum. Delegate Liaison Team During the forum campaign this team focused on contacting by phone over 400 enterprise professionals who had been identified as key decision makers. The team was responsible for nurturing and managing these contacts to reserve their places at the event. VIP Guest Team As a specialised service, this dedicated team was responsible for inviting and ensuring individuals identified by our partners, sponsors and exhibitors attended the forum.
